For a weekend stay while I went skiing, the lodge was fine to stay at. 25-30 mins from Mammoth Mtn and just a few mins from June Mtn. 1 min to small restaurants. Big rooms with nice lake views. Bed was comfy and the room was clean, but the walls are thin and icicles kept dropping onto the roof which...

I likely would not have chosen to stay at Boulder Lodge had it not been for my husband who stayed here countless times in his early twenties, and swore up and down that it was the best of the best. Disclaimer: I've stayed at a lot of plush, fancy hotels and Boulder Lodge is definitely NOT even in the top...

We requested a room with a fridge & microwave, and were told that they would have that for us within an hour. After sightseeing the June Loop, we returned to the cozy lodge, with two resident cats, one next to the fireplace - a pool table, and vintage decor. We stayed two nights in the same room, which was comfortable...

I stayed the night at the Boulder Lodge on a rainy night. I woke to a view of snow frosted mountains and the fragrance of pine. Delightful! We enjoyed a game of Scrabble before the fire in the lobby. Good place to stay if you're sightseeing. Beki was very helpful.

In a matter of minutes, the price increases if the lady doesn't like your face. Put leverage in her hand (it is 10pm and you are looking for a room) and you have the most despicable human interaction ever. I am better off sleeping in my car. And I have claustrophobia !!

This is quite an old place. The room was a decent size with a balcony overlooking the lake. No fridge which is unusual and bed a little soft but other than that it was okay. Decent value for the price we paid. Internet didn't reach to our room but worked in the lobby.

If stained rugs, sporadic hot water, a pitifully small TV with no remote, and a hefty ($140) cost is your cup of tea, this lodge is perfect for you. There are cars up on cinder blocks in the parking lot, walls that convey perfectly what's happening in adjoining rooms, and coffee machines that can be brought to your room if...

Others say this place is dated, and they're right. But, if you're after a comfortable and clean place to sleep while you spend your days hiking, fishing, or playing in June Lake, you should consider this place. There's a pool and hot tub, they have a few fire pits in common areas, and there are a ton of barbecues for...

Older facility with motel style rooms. Very reasonable, including rooms with porches and balconies offering unobstructed views of beautiful June Lake. Both evening and morning staff very personable and friendly. Not fancy, but even the guests were in a great mood.

As the title suggests, the main draw of the Boulder Lodge is that it has an amazing view of June Lake and the surrounding environs. Amazing photographs can be taken from your unit's patio, and even better ones can be taken from the lake's edge. I got what I expected from a room at a fishing lodge: clean and comfortable....
