Sorry this is so late! But the holiday is again upon us! We are so looking forward to our stay again this weekend. We love Julie at the front desk. My daughter and I felt so welcome and had no problems whatsoever. I had one problem and the phone in my room didn't work. Julie was very apologetic and let...

It was a nice, clean spot to spend the night during our drive through the redwoods. They are just a small roadside motel, but clean and comfortable. There is no Wifi or cell reception (at least for AT&T), so it feels a bit cut off from the world. The Paul Bunyan Old Growth tree private hill is right across the...

OK-if you are all techie-being online constantly with your laptop, Facebook, emails...playing Pokemon...glued to your cell phone 24-7...wanting matching modern decor....then this is not the place for you. We loved the spacious room and the clean, updated bathroom. It it a simple motel room, just the basics, TV, small microwave, mini coffeepot and small refrigerator. Big comfy bed....but-no cell signal...

After paying for 2 nights from the most unwelcoming older woman, we moved our things in before checking out the room. The place had no refridg., nor microwave, dark drab room that smelled of way too much of carpet fresh. I started to read the binder of the place and surroundings. It was so negative that I began to feel...

Motel trees is a nice little motel across from the trees of mystery. Nothing fancy but it has everything you need including a reasonable rate. You can get to a beach down a nature trail about a half mile away. There is a sign that says the watch for bears. We did not see any. There is not much in...

Actually I'm not really sure what I expected, but after seeing some of the rooms with the murals on the walls and other things it was different. Our room was just a plain, paneled room. Clean with an extra bedroom and a large bathroom. We had a very nice view of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox across the...

the front desk is not friendly, wasn't friendly when I called to make reservations, and wasn't friendly when we checked in. Wouldn't have stayed here because of that, except I wanted to be there. So ignore that and enjoy yourself. It is across the street from the Trees of Mystery which is where I really wanted to go. They had...

Very cute and clean! The room was spotless. Beautiful scenery cuz you are surrounded by the forest. The only complaint I have is that there was no air conditioner or fan. But it wasn't bad because it gets very cool in the evening. Also no reception for your wifi. But overall a good clean place to stay if you won't...

Our destination was the Trees of Mystery. This motel is across the street! It is very aesthetic and appealing. The room is quaint with a forest theme on the walls. The ceiling is beautiful wood. All the amenities available. It is by the freeway so there is traffic noise but we managed to sleep fine.

This was a really great value for only $81 a night. It had been newly refurbished. The room was super clean and had a very spacious bathroom with a shower only. The only downside was no Wi-Fi . Not entirely their fault as cell phones did not seem to work because of the mountains. Really good value
