I was upgraded to a suite because of issues with the first room. Problems with WiFi, TV and AC in the second room. Staff was very helpful. Still. It was annoying. Location is great but the hotel need some upgrading.

Highly recommend ! Best location, 2 min away from the main ocean promenade .Sits on a little hill , overlooking the ocean! Plan for the sunset cocktail or the sunrise yoga.. The hotel is fully renovated in classical style while preserving the warm atmosphere of Southern Californian life . Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds. Try the hotel restaurant " Ten"...

This boutique hotel is very pretty but the rooms were small albeit quiet. There was questionable vacuuming as the floor had grit and even an old dead spider right by bed. Very dusty. I don't usually have allergies but my throat and ears itched from beginning. The view was nice and we had corner room with 2 windows. The location...

This is a stunning hotel that was completely restored several decades ago. It is a classic, decorated in 'period' furniture, with an incredibly accommodating staff. It is in a perfect location, on the edge of the Village, within two blocks of Mary Ellen Scripps Park along the shoreline. It can be no less than the second best in La Jolla,...

We had to do a little getaway because our house was being remodeled. First trip with 5 month old son. Kelly was super helpful & accommodating with the reservations. By Luiza Sep 11 2015 Great and friendly staff, always smiling and ready to help. The location was walking distance to banks, shops and eateries. Close to La Jolla Cove to see the Sea Lions and further on to see the harbour seals. Nice rooms too, like a European boutique hotel. The food at Nine-Ten was delicious! I would return.

Great place to stay! Quiet, clean, perfect location! I have stayed here several times over the years and just love it. I had a two bedroom suite this time and it had a small kitchen and some treats! It felt like a home away from home.
