Stayed one night in June before driving through Yosemite on route 120. Room was nice, bed comfy. No fridge, no breakfast included and we never found an ice-machine. Brought out our engineering sides when trying to keep our groceries cold through the stay :) Check...More

Our stay took place on June 21 and 22, 2017. Room itself was okay; beds comfortable, room clean though not well appointed (tiny bathroom, no tissues provided, hardly any wall plugs, intermittent/frequent internet outages). Reason for low rating is that hotel was renovating room next...More

We discovered the El Mono three years ago when my husband was doing his first section of the PCT and coming out at Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. The rooms are compact but very comfortable and super clean! We just love the feeling of the place...More

this is a very rural quaint town and you will be okay. family of five, well. you will all have to share. this is the cutest place to stay in town and i say do it. just be mindful that you all have to share the bathroom.

I think this question is meant for the motel staff...not the Trip Advisor members. I reserved this motel online: google 'El Mono motel".

Bennett's wife here. The lake has a LOT of flies on it & fly larvae in it. Perhaps people go in...I haven't seen it, though. Only kayaks, etc.
