Old fashioned motel cabin with some upgrades. Small kitchen area. It was clean and quiet. The cabin heater was noisy. Internet was only available in the hotel lobby. Lake View Lodge is misnamed. There are very few areas on the grounds with views of the lake.

Room was clean, had some troubles with the shower, staff came up repaired very fast. Located in the center of town, close to restaurant, store and gift shops. Close to mono lake (lots of people with cameras due to photo class, make sure you go at sunset or sunrise for best lighting, bodie ghost town very cool. Would stay again!

Mixture of motel rooms and cabins, conveniently located for downtown Lee Vining (which'll take you all of 10 minutes to check out; it's a small town and several places had already closed for the winter), we had a cabin. Let's be clear, the cabins face AWAY from the lake, so it's not like you can sit on the porch looking... More

This motel is located conveniently for visiting many nearby attractions like Yosemite, Mono Lake and Bodie. All are a short driving distance away. The "lake view" is a small view of the lake from one area of the parking lot. We couldn't see the lake at all from our second story room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room... More

This is one of the better motels my husband and I have stayed at on our recent road trip. We checked in around dusk without reservations so we were happy to find an available room. Our room had a kitchenette which came in handy. Our room was decorated nicely and clean. Our beds were very comfortable. Our heater seemed to... More

The Lake View Lodge is our go to place when staying in Lee Vining. Whereas we have not had a lake view room, we still like the location, clean rooms, friendly people and proximity to our destination. The prices are reasonable and the grounds are beautiful.

We stayed here for two nights as a base for Yosemite National Park. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed, coffee facilities, microwave and fridge. The staff were very friendly giving lots of information of where to eat including the Epic Cafe on the grounds. The hotel is right next to the Tioga Pass so very convenient... More

We stopped here on our way to Yosemite. It's very close to Tioga Road and close to Mono Lake. Room was clean. Had to go outside to get wifi to work. Walking distance to the restaurants in town. Great coffee shop with very good breakfast sandwiches just a block from the Lodge. It is a rustic motel and there weren't... More

Nice. Quiet. Convenient. Reasonable. No WiFi. Great seasonal cafe on the property. Epic Cafe. Easy access to Mono Lake. I don't like having to put in 200 two hundred words. I'm on a frickin vacation! I still can't get out of review jail. This is stupid! I'm about to write a bad review of Trip Advisor. I am writing a... More
