We selected this place as it's very close to the entrance of Yosemite . It is located right on the main road, which remained busy right through the night. The rooms were lacking in normal facilities like no TV , radio or telephone. No double glazing to window or door with big gaps around . This meant the noise from... More

We arrived in a hailstorm, not the most auspicious time for the heater to fail. However instant service, a maintenance man arrived in under 5 mins and it was fixed. The room is a little down at heel even by " rustic standards " but we only slept there, The important things are sorted, the bed was comfortable, the shower... More

We loved our quirky room at Tioga Lodge! It wasn't the most cost effective night but the room has lovely views over mono lake and is near to Yosemite. Staff were all really friendly and felt like you were staying at a relatives house! The night before we stayed in Half Dome village for a similar price but wished we... More

We booked a room here as we couldn't find anything else close to Yosemite. The place is seriously over priced and to be honest I seriously doubt anyone would like to stay here if it wasn't close to Yosemite. The cabin was clean, but that was the best thing about it. The noise from the highway is disturbing, you can... More

This is a roadside hotel just outside Lee Vining. It has a stunning situation with beautiful views across Mono Lake. The accommodation is in several different buildings but all have the view. Nicely kept gardens and outside seating at each building. I had booked at short notice and was greeted by a very friendly, pleasant lady. They have a restaurant... More

Tioga Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It's rustic, with old fashioned charm too. The bathrooms need to be overhauled, but they are clean and well equipped with toiletries and big towels. Each cabin has a million-dollar view of the lake, and chairs out front so you can take you cup of coffee in the morning and watch the... More

As we were unable to find accommodations in the preceding town and it was early evening, we happened upon this place and thought we better register, not knowing what may or not be available ahead. The owner kindly showed us our cabins before deciding to accept them. They are rustic with no amenities for the price we paid which we... More

We are on big California road trip. We are booking our hotels on the road on a daily basis. Yosemite was the part of his trip that gave me most concerns as I knew it is very hard to find accommodation at Yosemite. Most Yosemite valley places are booked one year in advance. On this particular August day, as we... More

The staff is friendly and the cabin was comfortable, but we sleep with windows open because there is no air conditioner and the noise is unbearable! Cabins are just about 50 feet from 395 highway and the semi trucks barrel through there all night long! The restaurant serves flavorful food, but my $17 chicken salad had seriously, just a couple... My family has a special place in our hearts for Mono Lake so when we had the opportunity to stay near the lake on a business trip, we decided to stay at the Tioga Lodge. My husband booked the room online and there was only one of the cabin's available, The Kit Carson Room. The room was part of a... More
