This was a great weekend place to stay while attending the Sandhill Crane Festival in Lodi. Hostess Lani was very welcoming and friendly...made us feel right at home. Her TLC to restore the expansive yet vintage 1880s pioneer house is evident everywhere. Breakfast was deliciously...More

We are so glad you felt at home in this Gold Rush doctor's home! The Sandhill Crane Festival is quite a draw to this area. Next time you are here, please add to our bird count journal on the birds that visit the inn's gardens.

I almost don’t want to review this place, because I want it to be sacred and available for when I want to go back. EVERYTHING is done with such love here. The breakfasts were amazing. The property is lovely. The house is decorated fairly true...More

We stayed for a couple of nights during our honeymoon a few years ago (just catching up on my outstanding tripadviser reviews!) and absolutely loved the old world feel of the place. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Lani was a charming...More

How thoughtful of you to "catch up". Having couples stay for their honeymoon always seems just right here - sort of a symbol of longevity. Please do consider a return for an anniversary!

It was nice talking with you. The Abington is the room with the king bed. It's the largest of our rooms.
