Had an unacceptable experience booking a room at this hotel. Booked a King room for my friend’s wedding (which she is having at the venue across the street), 10 months in advance. Called back 2 months later just to confirm they still had my reservation, and they told me it was cancelled a few days prior, without my knowledge, because...

I am really sorry that when your friends cancelled their buyout, that is was not communicated to you better. You should have been sent an email from us and it is regretful that it did not make it to you. Since the wedding venue had a temporary hold on those rooms, it included your reservation. Otherwise you would not have...

Set back from the main street by a shady lawn surrounding a little wine-tasting room, the Alamo boasts a Route 66 kind of vibe and a great central location for exploring Los Alamos. My spacious but spartan room, #1, might have been dubbed the Cattleman's Bunkhouse, with its plank flooring, pine furnishings and print of a cow's (buffalo's?) head. A...

I stayed at the Alamo Motel with a friend for one night in November and absolutely loved it: the room was clean, chic, and so cozy. The location as well is unbeatable for food and of course wine tasting. We didn't want to leave and began planning our next stay almost the second we left. Additionally, the staff are wonderful:...

It's fun and simply special. Great staff, great fire pit, great location for wine tasting. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Head down to Bob's for breakfast. Really enjoy the stay

In the northern reaches of Santa Barbara Wine Country (Santa Ynez Valley,) Los Alamos is a one-horse town that hasn't yet been gentrified, like Los Olivos, Ballard and Santa Ynez. It is home to the best bakery in the U.S. -- perhaps the world -- Bob's Well Bread. (see my review.) Down the block is the Alamo Motel, a re-do...

Updated motel by the Shelter Social Club. Great price. Very clean room. We had a king room. Good size. Comes with a table and two chairs, bench, TV with cable, small refrigerator. I saw that some of the rooms seemed to even have kitchens. Their was wine in the room for purchase at a fair price. I like that they...

Brilliant. I was cycling through Los Alamos actually looking for a campground. I stopped by the hotel to see how much they were charging. As it was a super reasonable price, I decided to stay. I was surprised at how nice the room was for the price. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I totally recommend spending a night...

This is an old motel refurbished to make it attractive for modern travelers. It is handy to town, it is cute, very clean and has a great bath tub. The service in the office was also responsive (as was essential) and very good. However ... our room has no chairs, no desk, and a board for a dresser. There is...

Cute, friendly and fun. Hotel is well appointed but rather old school, no frills. Furniture is western rustic - faux cowhide rug, leather topped end tables etc. Bathroom small but adequate and the amenities are high quality. There was table & two chairs but NO drawers or shelves. I'm one who likes to unpack rather than dig thru bags -...

My daughter and I stayed here to check out the funky little town and attend an evening event at a local winery. We were so completely happy here. The decor was minimal, but modern and cozy. The bed was amazing and the claw foot tub was a fun experience! Our room was very clean. I loved the location, in walking...
