Stayed at this hotel last week. Got what I thought was a great deal but please read below carefully: 1. At checkin they wanted a credit card for a security deposit etc I provided a card. 2. At checkout it was paid with a different card. I find now cleared charges on BOTH credit cards for the same stay. $329.67...

Thank you for your review. All comments help us to serve you better. I understand your concern about your c/c charges and after looking into it, I see that you guaranteed your stay with one card, which we had to pre-authorize, and you paid for your stay with another. Depending on your banking institution, the funds from the original card...

A tired old lady for sure but the central location over ride any objections, Probably in original condition and overall a very dark atmosphere which is brightened up by the staff. Rooms quite nice though dated. However for the price, don't be too fussy. Very popular with travellers and seemingly always busy. We returned to Los Angeles a few days...

Although the room was not much to write home about, it was clean and satisfactory, as well as was the hotel in general: Old Art Deco, to be sure; but I am writing about the staff. Rene and Iyanobel at the desk were a blessing: Professional, helpful, informative, congenial and bilingual. They directed us to the eatery and provided us...

The room was absolutely horrible from the mustard yellow paint on the walls to the wires hanging from the ceiling. The TV wouldn't work unless you changed the input everytime you turned it on and because the cable box was perched on the top of the TV and angled up, I had to stand up and hold the remote control...

Thank you for your review. All comments are important to us, it helps us do a better job. It sounds like you got one of our economy rooms, which are small. Asked for a queen room, got the keys and went up to our room on the fifth floor. Unpacked some stuff, had a shower, then my boyfriend discovered that the A/C wasn't working! Called up reception, they sent someone up to fix the A/C, turns out he couldn't do anything so we had to pack up our stuff, and go...

My husband and I stayed at the Milner Hotel in September 2016. It is located on a quiet street and there is a Metro station just at the top of the street which is ideal. There is a shopping centre on the next street where you'll find a Target shop and a great food hall. It is very obvious that...

The Milner hotel is very well located, close to eateries, to Macy's, to the Metro station and to other important locations like the Olympic Blvd. The staff are friendly and we got a large room with all amenities that made our stay memorable. Though when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that our room booked through Hotels. com...

In spite of a series of booking errors caused by Expedia, the staff at Milner made my situation much better. We stayed here for 6 nights in October. It was the last stop in a 3 week trip in America. We loved this hotel, we had a problem with our room initially but the front desk changed us straight away. Following my visit in Spring -previous review below- I stayed again at The Milner Hotel and this time the experience was a serious downgrade from last. Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
