Have stayed here a couple of times before. Best thing is the location on the beach - just far enough away from the centre of Venice and right on the beach. Rooms are small, bathrooms are small. Free simple breakfast is great to have on...More
The hotel is literally on the beach. Very close to the fisherman’s pier, the canals and Muscle beach. Nice little breakfast on the rooftop terrace. I imagine it can be noisy in summer, but they provide earplugs, which is really thoughtful. They also have on-site...More
This is the second time we have visited here and we weren't disappointed. If you need flash, posh, swanky you're in the wrong place however if you want clean, comfortable bed, shower that works then this is your place. Then there's the view....this hotel is...More
Located right on the beach, just steps away from the pier and only a few short blocks from W Washington Blvd, where a lot of restaurants and bars are located, the location can't be beat. The more popularized "muscle-beach" is a little over a 5-minute...More

Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it

Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
Do not know if the Suite has an Ocean View as our room was on the side overlooking an alley with a partial Ocean view. The roof terrace has a superb view. Did not go to Golds Gym on this occasion but it is not far to drive... More
