I stayed here for two nights January 3rd and January 5th. The (what I presumed to be ) owner checked me in and out for both nights. He was extremely friendly, offering coffee each time I was in the front office. Check-in was a breeze....More

I would contact a tour company. This motel is not located close to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, or the major studios, nor is it close to convenient public transport. But it is in a nice residential area of the South Bay convenient to beaches and the coast, a major shopping center in Torrance (Del Amo), decent restaurants, and not far from the hills of the Palos Verdes peninsula, where you can get great views of Los Angeles and the Pacific coast. It is a good value for what you get, which is why I like it. I used to live in the area. My suggestion is to rent a car and navigate the freeways to where you want to go. If you want a hotel/motel close to the major studios like Universal or attractions like Disneyland, you'll pay much more and get less.
