From The Tower, built in 1927, where Gable and Lombard lived, to The Cabanas, vintage 1950s, where Marilyn Monroe lived, guests have two distinct accommodations options. The Tower has undergone a 25 million dollar renovation designed by Yabu Pushelberg. The Tower rooms have larger work desks and are suited for guests traveling on business or with families. The Cabanas are just footsteps from the renowned David Hockney pool and the Tropicana Pool Cafe, which is open until 2am. The Cabanas are suited for guests looking for an entertaining and lively Hollywood experience.

My name is Jack Trout, I am a new actor in Hollywood. I found out from some other associates I work with to stay at the Hollywood Roosevelt when filming or frequenting TinselTown. I can not express my genuine gratitude towards this incredible establishment and I have now stayed there 3 times and everytime seems to be better. First off, the valet when you arrive. They are so well trained and genuinely like their jobs. They are so helpful and know and live in the area, they can help you with a lot of questions you may have. The security is unsurpassed and people like Byron have my back here, not that there are any issues, but you know what I mean in this day and age. The front desk: People like Robert are on top of their game and make suggestions that benefit your stay. I suggest signing up for IPrefer and getting an upgrade while you're attending. The luxurious grounds where so many stars have frequented are luminaries for your historic era, you only live once, better stay here is what I say. Marilyn Monroe, Liza Minelli, Will Smith and the list keeps growing. Manager Juan Pineda is a gem, talking about a guy who loves what he does. This Is one of the reasons I'll keep coming back and telling friends and family about Hollywood's finest place to stay. Did I tell you it's walking distance from Runyon Canyon? A place where you can walk and climb to see all of Hollywood and LA, plus the Hollywood sign? You go there Sizzler, you deserve it! The restaurant Barish is amazing!! But I suggest the Baha Tacos by the pool, you can't go wrong. When I stay here, they make me feel like a king and after the last two years we've had, I need a place to heal, this is my kingdom away from home. It's a great value to say the least. I'm not only a guest of Hollywood Roosevelt, I am a huge fan and it's all because of the people who work here. Carry yourself with class and grace and you will be rewarded because this staff remembers who is honest and fair to them. The secret of life is how you affect others in a positive way. This is the finest place I have ever stayed at in 54 countries I've visited. I can't say enough. other than Hollywood Roosevelt, "I LOVE YOU MAN!!" Submitted respectfully, Jack Trout - Actor/SAG 11591568

I've been staying at the Roosevelt for years even if my LA friends make fun of me for staying in Hollywood and not another neighborhood. I gotta say that on my last visit that was for a week, I noticed that the hotel just doesn't seem to care about making sure its guests are taken care of. It's something I looked past during other stays, I mean, it's Hollywood. I get it. But the hotel rented out everything from the pool (without a heads up when I reserved) to blocking off the main elevators for two days so somebody could set up for a party. Also, what the heck is up with the terrible in-room desk situation? A stool? Get a chair in there, please. People need to work.

I stayed at Hollywood Roosevelt early Jan 2022 and was blown away by the place. The service was top notch, room service everyday, top shelf items filled the fridge and they gave me a free upgrade. I'm very impressed and would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family.

There is no doubt why so many famous artists like Marilyn lived here. It`s pure Magic. The building itself is not only part of Hollywood, it represents perfectly the Hollywood feel and lifestyle. I want to thank Hollywood Roosevelt hotel for the most beautiful, most inspiring time an artist like me can have. Special thanks to the guys from the front desk, who helped me a lot, when my apt elsewhere was overbooked, and I needed a home! Big thanks to Nancy and 25 degrees team for taking care of me with the best breakfast in town, and always a smile for me! Thank you so much to Mia, Raul and the others from the Tropicana bar, where I had the greatest, and most artistic cocktail creations, and tons of fun! And....not to forget...thank you to David, and my black friend, who served me so well in the best dinner restaurant I have ever been in, the Barish. My stomach gets crazy when writing about it. And hey, thank you to Dora and the housekeeping crew, who put everything perfect on place every day. Thank you guys! I am sorry I can only vote a 5 stars here, cause you deserve at least 6. You are not a hotel, you are family for me. Be back soon!

I stayed at the Hollywood Roosevelt for four nights over Christmas in 2021. I opted for a deluxe King room which had a large four poster bed, couch, a large armchair and a desk in front of the TV. I found the room to be of a very good size and found the bed to be very comfortable. Blackout blinds in a hotel room are always welcome and I heard no noise from other rooms or from the street level. The hotel is in a fantastic location on Hollywood blvd and is right across from the Chinese theatre. If you want to explore Hollywood then this as good a location as you will get. I didn't experience much of the hotels facilities like the pool as the weather was bad during my stay, it did look very good however as did the impressive lobby and accompanying lobby bar. Next time I stay I would like to try both. I did go for breakfast one morning to the diner at the front of the hotel '25 Degrees'. It's okay, overpriced as expected for a hotel restaurant and the food was again just, okay. The staff were very good however. The staff at both check in and check out were friendly and helpful and the process on both occasions was efficient. The room is lacking in a few amenities that would have helped upgrade this review to 5 stars. There were no robe or slippers in the room despite these being listed on the hotel's website as being included. The fridge in the room is a stacked mini bar that cannot be used for your own storage and there was no electric toothbrush/shaver charging socket in the bathroom. All little things that didn't spoil my stay but warrant the slightly lower rating. I would definitely stay at this hotel again were I to visit Hollywood.
