Really helpful and attentive staff. We were able to check in early and also leave our car there after we checked out. The hotel were helpful with local information and tours etc. The complimentary breakfast is basic but adequate. The only drawback is the limited tables so get there early if you want breakfast. However there are so many restaurants...

I spent 3 days with my girlfriend in LA. This motel has very nice location with a metro station just one block away which makes it so easy to go to Hollywood area, universal studio such places. Also, it has a lot of shuttle services to airport, Disneyland and so on. The only thing is that our room smells very...

Stayed last month for two nights. Amenities are okay, staff was okay, parking lot was okay, room was okay, and the breakfast was okay. I would say everything was okay but not great. If you are expecting more than okay, then this is not your place to stay. But if you are okay with okay, this hotel is a good...

Great location, near the Metro line. Very basic accomodation. The only downside is you can hear the people staying above you. I stayed on the ground floor. This area also has some decent restaurants. And there is free wifi, so thats good. Would stay again if I'm on a tight budget.

My wife and i stayed here for 4 nights in February and Travelodge served its purpose. We needed a clean place to simply sleep and shower and the hotel came through. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the mounted flat screen TV in the room and also the actual size of the room itself. The neighborhood isn't that...

The Travelodge on Vermont Avenue is a good find for its hotel class. Check in and check out were efficient, and my room was reasonably clean (some hair was left in the bathtub) and adequately appointed (bed, fridge, chair, TV, etc.). The Metro Red Line stops very close by, and there is some free parking available too. I spent two...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
