Good price, convenient location, clean rooms. The parking is free but on busy weekends there aren't enough parking spaces. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and drug store...most sightseeing is driving distance but the hotel is in a convenient location.

We were greeted in a friendly enough way, given a room that was 'clean' - the beds were nice, fresh sheets, smelled fine. One could tell it was freshly painted (but not patched). The carpet was worn and I wondered how dirty it was. Overall, it was fine. we expected the sirens and noice. I was a little shocked to...

Located in East Hollywood between Highway 101 and I-5, with easy access to the freeways, you couldn’t ask for a better location. The price is very competitive (about half) compared to other, more popular locations (West Hollywood, Santa Monica, etc.); and there is adequate free parking. The room we had was clean, quiet and a bit small. The internet connection...

The motel is well priced and the staff were very helpful, booking all the tours/activities we wanted to do. Downside is that after the cleaners come through the smell of disinfectant was quite strong, but with the windows open it soon went away. And even though we were in a non smoking room we could still smell smoke

Great location with free parking, and less than 1 block from a metro station. It's a cheap hotel so it's run down and dirty. Beds are ok, and the sheets were clean and there were no bedbugs so at least you could get a decent night's sleep and spend the day sightseeing. Free wifi (but slow), and a very basic...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
