Everything was good but the guy that was in the front desk in the mornings was the worst ever, with such a bad attitude, good breakfast and everything clean and a good sector to stay when you go to L.A

We selected the Sunrise Hotel from a AAA book, because it was close to the cruise ship terminals, and close to many restaurants and museums. The price was so low that we did not have our expectations very high. It turned out to be a nice room, clean and comfortable. It was an easy walk to several museums, which we...

Hotel is a bit dated, room was clean, quiet. Check in staff was very unfriendly, evening staff were much nicer. Everything locked up so hard to get into pool area or go outside for a walk around hotel.

Not if it was the last hotel on earth and completely free, DON'T DO IT. Someone (and more than likely an organized inside job) watched my husband return to his room, waited until he was asleep, opened the door somehow (again, someone who obviously had a key), and emptied all of the cash from his wallet. Over $1000 stolen while...

We were greeted (not) by a manager at the Sunrise who showed no expression and certainly spoke no more words than absolutely required. The room was basic but cheap compared to the competition. Its not a place to stay for more than one night. If you arrive early, don't spend your afternoon at the hotel. The rooms are dark and...

We stayed with the cruise package the room was fine but a little dated and the breakfast is a usual continental breakfast. It use to be much better. The air conditioner didn't work well, very slow to cool off, never got cool enough. It is ok for a one night stay. The real problem that we had was the shuttle...

Stayed here for one night before our cruise and it was one night too many. Due to a late flight we checked in after midnight and if it wasn't so late we would not have stayed. The room was at least 95 degrees and smelled awful when we opened the door, there were large bugs in the shower/tub, and "mystery"...

1 of the busiest weekends of the year (Valentines) and only 1 staff member on duty! He couldn't handle checking everyone in, answering phones, responding to guests (more towels, key cards not working, ie. room problems, etc) by himself, yet owner who makes mega-bucks a year from this property did not want to pay for another staff member to be...

Coworkers and I drove down to see the hotel before booking as we were put off by some of the reviews here. The hotel was way nicer than we were expecting. Beautiful lobby.. friendly staff. Brand new mattress (they were packing the old ones on a truck when we pulled up). Beautiful view of the museum next door in what...
