This hotel is certainly trying to stand out from the crowd - a welcome drink on arrival (soft), free chocolates and sweets, and even a phone near the pool to request lollipops!

The MC is in a decent area but you need to keep your eyes open at all times. Hollywood Blvd is 2 blocks away which will be a different adventure. Public transportation is available but I suggest you use UBER to go to attractions. Driving can be stressful if you have never drove in the states. I was in Australia for a month and it took me a week to get adjusted to your driving. FYI, the MC has Vegamite in a tube for breakfast. Welcome to the USA!
