HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 30 December 2016 via mobile

Stayed a couple of nights after arriving in LA. Great room, comfortable beds, fridge and coffee maker in room. Plenty of good towels for the bathroom. The free breakfast was an added bonus with plenty to choose from, inc pastries, cereals, different breads, fruit and scrambled egg. Also coffee and fruit juice. More than enough to keep you going. The...

The rooms are better than average. The beds are good and the shower is nice. But Travelling from Europe with friends, so depending on the Wifi to communicate with the home front. Wifi in this hotel is free but doesn't really work.

Room was nice shape and clean. Only down side to the king suit was the lack of TV viewing from the bed.

This was the last hotel on our United States visit. We were just filling in time. It was nice to have space in our unit to sort out luggage. The unit was well appointed and immaculately clean. The hotel was run very efficiently. It is close to public transport and all sorts of eating opportunities. There is a Walgreens across...

We stayed for two nights and while the room was nice, the rest not so much. They were doing some type of remodel that was so loud. The last night of our visit, at 1 am there were people outside cursing at each other and screaming for a couple or hours. It was absolutely ridiculous.

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
