The front desk guy was weird and not professional. The room looked nice and comfortable, but they had sprayed heavy perfume on the bedding which I hate. I have asthma and it makes for a very unpleasant sleep. The shower head is to big for people with thick long hair. You can't get clean. The toilet was broke and had...

Chose the Inn as a place to stay for a Menlo College class reunion on advice of friends. And, were they ever right! Let's start with Krystle who took my phone reservation which involved some specific requests. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and businesslike... including a cell message to me on day of arrival that room was ready for occupancy (which...

Pros: Friendly, welcoming staff. Great breakfast, with options including greek yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, eggs etc. Rooms are fairly large, clean and in good condition, everything works. Convenient location right in the middle of Silicon Valley, just a couple of miles from Stanford. It's also a short walk away from downtown MP - which, while not exactly exciting, certainly has enough...

Tried to check in and it was nearly impossible to switch from the room they had planned with one king to a room with two doubles--even though rooms were available. Rigid rules and poorly trained staff made it difficult. First manager wouldn't answer staff call. Finally afetr 45 minutes, another manager helped out and swiftly took care of problem. Inn...

The Menlo has many pluses that will keep it on my Options list, despite significant road noise. The staff here simply try harder than most hotels of this size. Genuine friendly greetings (contrast with the polished professional), free water, cookie, and trail mix in the room (avoids the luggage-cookie juggle) got things off to a nice start. The parking lot...

The room is very well appointed and comfortable mattress but the noise from the upstairs room is annoying. You can hear every step and almost every conversation they are having. If you book here request an upstairs room. Very good breakfast buffet also.

The stuff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean with some nice touches to make us feel at home including complimentary eye masks, bottled water, cookie and snack upon arrival, satisfactory breakfast buffet. They were helpful in quieting noisy neighbors too. Would recommend if you have business or family in Menlo Park.

I stayed at Menlo Park Inn for a business trip. The staff there were friendly and courteous. They had complimentary breakfast. Juice is organic. Their breakfast starts at 6:30am, but I forgot when it ends...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In a region renowned for razor-sharp venture capital firms and a generous dose of Stanford-style intellectual innovation, the Menlo Park Inn carves a decidedly unique niche - a sleek, utterly stylish inn that makes all-star service its top priority. Sure, our guests love our easy, under-two-mile access to Palo Alto, but what really makes them smile? We think it's the sweet smell of fresh-baked cookies. It's an Xperience you'll never forget. ... more   less
