Service great! Breakfast was very, very good. The cookies and milk at nighttime was a fantastic touch. The jelly beans were tasty. The service by Rick and his staff made us feel very.special. Dorothy gave a very nice first impression.

A incredible house with history and a life of its own. Rick and Suzanne are not only lovely but they go way out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. The breakfasts are always tailored to individual diets. The proximity to the wharf and the aquarium could not be better - all within walking distance....

So I am usually not a big fan of B&B's but the Jabberwock definitely won me over. We arrived very late on our first night so the host had left out some wine and cookies in the main house for us on our arrival. Our room was separate from the main house and it was huge - large washroom with...

Rick, the owner was welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. Great location with easy walk to downtown. Enjoyed conversation with Rick and other guests at daily happy hour where he served some great appetizers.

I wish we could have stayed for longer honestly. My girlfriend and I are from Petaluma and this was a great place to go for our weekend getaway. The service was great, the owners were very kind and our room included a private bath. The room was clean and tidy when we got there, as well as complimentary drinks. Overall,...

Everything about The Jabberwock was first rate from the Innkeepers to the accommodations to the other guests. I had an excellent experience and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Monterey. Everyone was so helpful; breakfast was over the top; and the ambience of the inn was perfect.

This is a charming B & B just four blocks from Cannery Row. The hosts are lovely and knowledge people for a hike, restaurant and the community . The home is pure craftsman with a nod to Lewis Carroll whimsy. Every room has special touches. Our bedroom on the 3rd floor had jellybeans and a night cap. The bed was...

The hotel is historic, pretty and very well maintained and the nice touches like afternoon canapes and wine are really great. Open fridge with soft drinks and Boccie court were nice additions. But 3 big downsides for me. Absolutely no sound proofing whatsoever between Mimsy/Wabe room, it felt uncomfortable and at well over $200 a night this isn't acceptable. Curtains...

My stay started with a welcoming host and having some wine and appetizers on the sun porch. There are lots of antiques and the theme is throughout the house. there were very few guests the night I stayed and I felt like I had the place to myself. The bed was very comfortable and the house was quiet, not even...

The Jabberwock is a cozy bed and breakfast with a spectacular view of Monterey Bay. Walking distance from everything you need to see (Cannery Row, Rec trail, Pacific Grove & Lovers point park, etc). Rick was extremely friendly and every breakfast was delicious, as well as the 5pm hor d'ourves & wine! Will return to Monterey & the Jabberwock 10/10

“The room we had "the Tove" was a little bit noisy in the morning being next to the utility closet and having rooms up above (you could hear footsteps and showers) but overall experience was great. The private entrance and back patio made up for the noise.”
