We recently stayed for four nights, and I can't say enough about how much we appreciated Rick, his daughter Jane, and the rest of the staff (Rick's wife Suzanne was away on business). The breakfasts were excellently prepared, and the late afternoon wine and hors d'oeurves were also sumptuous. We had a great time meeting some of the other guests, and Rick was very helpful in offering suggestions on things to see and do in the area. You really can't go wrong with spending some time here.

My daughter had her wedding here May 2021 as this is her favorite place to stay in Monterey. If you are familiar with the poem the Jabberwocky you will not be disappointed with the details put into this Inn. Even if you don’t know the poem you will find a warm welcoming setting, beautiful grounds, clean rooms with very comfortable bedding, amazing breakfast and evening appetizers and thoughtful hosts. You are in walking distance from the Aquarium, Fisherman’s Wharf, restaurants, shops and sea lions.

Clean and Quiet and near 17 mile drive which is a must see and take at least half a day to enjoy it. Food great at b/b. Perfect local for a wedding group.Clean and a treat retreat since we never spend this amount but we’re ready after being cooped up for months. There are windows you can open.. a plus in these times.
