My fiancée and I stayed there at the last minute. The hotel is newly renovated from the previous Otter Inn. It's modern, super confortable, clean, ocean views, 1 block from Cannery row. Christine who is super friendly and goes out of her way to accomodate...More
OK, it has been remodeled and everything is clean and new, but it is still not so nice. We got a very discounted rate, but there is only 1 chair in the room, the heating is lacklustre, the safe locked and would not open and...More

Hello - no A/C but you wont need that in Monterey as it is generally breezy and you are fairly close to the ocean. Pastry basket was pre-packaged Danish, granola bars & a couple of pieces of fruit - nothing special but might hold you over until lunch. There are bakeries & restaurants w/i a short walk for other breakfast options.
