We really like quietness of this hotel and bed and pillows are so comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi are great and we enjoyed it a lot. The only downside is that room is smelly and you can smell it the second you walked in but for us we were out the whole day and just coming to the room for sleep...

I knew at booking this was an older hotel that needed remodeled as I had stayed in it a few years ago when it was Clarion. I liked the location and the indoor hot tub. But, this stay was a nightmare from beginning to end. After checking in, I went to the room and found the windows open, room cold,...

When they say, "LOW KEY, " in the advertisement, they actually mean to say, "LOW BUDGET." DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I can say that I am being VERY generous in giving this hotel '1'star. We enjoyed our stay previously, and thought it to be a decent place but they MUST have changed management. 1) Though on a previous stay we...

We stayed at the Stargazer Inn & Suites for two nights New Years weekend. We liked the fact that they have an indoor pool and hot tub/jacuzzi. Our stay was okay. On their website it states check in is at 3:00pm. When you arrive at 3:00 they let you know check in is at 4:00. They have 3:00 blocked out...

I have stayed in the Stargazer Inn three times before it went independent. When I booked, I was told that I could not use Booking.com at the time and that I would be guaranteed the best price. The day I checked in, I discovered that it was once again listed with booking.com and the prices had been discounted 40% Upon...

Not sure why they refer to this as a hotel, it's definitely a Motel. Probably built 50 years ago, but maintained well and really comfortable. We had a room in the back with 2 large beds and a small kitchen. Fireplace in the room, small balcony facing a private home next door. The room was spotless, though a little dated....

We stayed here with several family members for a scuba dive weekend. The hotel is in a great location near everything. It is in a hotel row and an easy hop to Carmel by just staying on the same road. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Double Rm #218 was great. Although on a Friday night with...

We only stayed for a night here but it was good for what we paid. The reception lady was a bit aloof and the continental breakfast only had sweet things (cakes, waffles and jam) so keep this in mind if you are diabetic or something.

A great place to stay while traveling. We were there 2 nights and had no problems with our stay. They have a very nice continental breakfast area with a patio area. The heated indoor pool and hot tub spa are both very nice and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Located near everything you need in Monterey,...

We booked on the fly at the last minute. Not fancy, but nice enough. Breakfast was adequate with a fair selection of hot, cereals, pastries, fruit, etc. Friendly staff. Good location, close to Cannery Row and 17 Mile Drive.
