It appears the Pelican Inn is owned by a family, and it was a fairly recent acquisition. We stayed on the 2nd floor, around the middle, and had a lovely quiet stay there. We had a king, triple-sheeted, nice room (they may not all be so well appointed?). Our only complaint was that the furniture was nicked up - the...

It was ok, nothing special, a little tired but clean and in a good location. Lots of parking and in walking distance to the town. The breakfast was a take away breakfast but we knew that when we book, there was a good choice considering this, with tea/coffee toast, porridge, yogurt, and a few other bits to choose from. It...

We stopped there for 1 night it was a late check in (9:00 pm approx) the check in was done through a teller looking window outside... it made me wonder if the the place was not safe and that's why the lobby was locked. Thank God the check in was fast as it felt strange to be standing outside. We...

We stayed one night as we were going on a fishing trip the next day. Small room but very clean, large bathroom. Has small microwave and refrigerator. Bed very comfortable but had only the sheet and light bedspread. I felt cold during the night and there was not an extra blanket anywhere. I wish they had an extra blanket for...

Accomodation isnt cheap in this area but the Pelican fits the bill, nice rooms , we choose one with a fireplace and it was great on a night with the log burning away ! one is provided per night. Parking is a bi tight and breakfast area tighter still but overall the room makes up for it, about 10 mins...

Lovely new room, very clean and lots of space. They are part of the Wyndham hotels group, they all have nice decoration and all you need in the room, including coffee! The breakfast was better than a lot of other motels that we have been in our trip through California.

We stayed here three nights and we were very satisfied. Compared to other lodging in the area, this is really a bargain. The staff was very nice and the room was adequate with an excellent bed !! The room was clean and the location was good. We would stay here again.

Stayed a couple of nights leading towards New Year 2017; rooms are basic but comfortable. Bed firm; open fire; coffee machine available in room. The continental breakfast was sufficient (cereal; toast; pastries; tea/coffee) but only placing for 4 people a tad strange.
