Friendly staff at check in. It's just a roadside motel so don't expect anything more. It s convenient to the water, the rock and the good restaurants. It's renovated but really an old building. Unfortunately I booked a while ago and paid $95 but the new price is $70 for the same date so apparently I paid too much!

loved it a throw back to the older styled rooms. very clean, comfy and well maintained. the manager( I think her name was sandy) was very helpful in helping me make plans on what to see along rt.1. on the rest of our trip. there is no air conditioning but they do provide a fan and this was sufficient. most... Spent 2 nights at the Morro Crest, one when driving south and liked it so we stayed again on the way back north. Morro Bay was a nice town for a walk and this hotel is near enough to the dock area that you can walk down there for dinner and a stroll, yet far enough away that it's nice... More

My fiancé and I were in a last minute search for a hotel. The Morro Crest Inn employee recognized I was military and gave us a room for the night at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with the room I can still remember big pillows large sheets covered my feet 😉. In all, we will be back when... More

We stayed here for a night on our trip along California shore. What a nice hotel! Service & check in was fast & convenient, the rooms have really nice personal touch to them with high quality linen, many cute pillows on the bed, nice design of the room & bathroom space. There is a flat screen TV, coffee machine etc... More

Very nice motel overlooking Morro Bay and The Rock. Staff was overly friendly! We wanted for nothing. The room was very clean and tidy. Very close to the waterfront. Would definitely stay there again!!! Thank you guys!

My wife & 2 boys (15 & 10) very much enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Morro Crest Inn. We were there on a Friday night, 6/17/15. The price was very decent and reasonable. Parking was ample, and the lot was freshly sealed & striped + well lit. The owner, Karen, greeted us happily at check-in, and she was... More

I have mixed feelings on this Inn! We got in late and most of the hotels in the surrounding area were completely sold out. They had one room left when we arrived at 10pm for about 20 bucks less than most of the hotels. We were exhausted from our drive and it was my birthday, so we decided to take... More

Was attracted to this Inn by the price and previous reviews. Very pleased. If you are looking for all the frills, this won't be for you. If you want a quiet stay, close to shopping and restaurants, and don't mind a little dated, it is perfect.. it is two blocks from the Embarcadero, so an easy stroll to restaurants and... More
