Very clean place, friendly hosts, walkable to embarcadero which was nice. One thing that would be a nice touch is coffee in the morning. There is coffee and coffee makers in the room which is nice. It seems like the rooms have been sort of updated. Except possibly the beds haha they had antique magic fingers machine hooked up to...

This in a unique little inn. The owners are so friendly and accommodating - they make you feel so welcome. The room was clean and was perfect. We had a minor problem and they were more than glad to resolve the issue. I would recommend this inn to anyone staying in beautiful Morro Bay.

Morro Bay is only a small place so pretty much anywhere in town is central, this particular property is on Main street and only a 2 block walk from the bay area. It was very clean and the room was large with a kingsize bed. The owners absolutely made the place though as others commented (and was the reason for...

Loved this place, we couldn’t complain about anything. The owner was lovely to deal with, gave us great tips on places to see around the area but unfortunately we were too tired from driving to get out and explore. The room was well presented and showed the love the owner had for the place. I would highly recommend staying in...

Great motel for one evening. Brilliant location. Staff very friendly, welcoming and information. Thought the room was very quaint and adorable! We happened to book the last available room which was the handicapped room - bathroom was great. Nice touch having a microwave even through we didn't use it.

Great Inn. We stayed here for one night on our way from SF to LA. Easy check-in, nice employees, clean and quiet room and a perfect location to visit Morro Bay. A short 5-minute walk to the city-center... Everything was absolutely perfect. Definitely again, if we travel to Morro Bay again!

My boyfriend and I were travelling up from LA to San Francisco along the PCH and we booked into the sundown before we set off. We arrived a bit later than planned but when we went to check in the young man behind reception was very welcoming. We stayed in room 5 which had 2 queen beds, we found the...

Stayed one night during a 2 week road trip. Check in was quick and easy and the rooms are spotlessly clean and with aircon. Motel is a two minute walk down to the bay area and restaurants. Would definitely stay again when in Morro Bay

We had an unexpected overnight stay in Moro Bay and found a room at the Sundown Inn. Cute little family run inn. Very clean and comfortable bed. Reasonably priced for not having a reservation. Located blocks from Moro Rock and tons of shops and restaurants. We would totally stay there again and I would happily recommend Sundown Inn.
