The stay was mediocre overall. Room amenities were minimal. TV remote was basically broken. TV signal was only fair. The TV was small and low sound quality. No coffee or anything but water was available in-room, despite a full kitchen in our special room ("Summer House"), which had beds for 4 (but hotel claimed it sleeps 5; a rollaway bed...

If basic, pretty clean accomodations at top dollar ($172 a night) is your desire, this place fills the bill! Skimpy, wornout towels, cheapest possible soaps, old toilet that takes 10 minutes to flush, no morning coffee until 8 am in the breakfast room unless you like Nescafe in a little packet, no curtains covering the window blinds which are your...

I loved this Hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and large. The beds were comfortable. The service was excellent, the owner of the B&B actually gave us recommendations of things to do in Yosemite & places to eat in the local town, both of which were very helpful. Location is good - a half hour drive from the entrance...

We stayed in the summer house for 3 nights mid-September. Very roomy for 2. Would not recommend more than 2 persons even though it can accommodate 4 as the other guests will sleep with their heads next to and/ or under an air conditioner wall unit. The cleaning efforts are seriously lacking. The cottage was dirty and the front door...

We have booked many B&Bs in our travels. Hounds Tooth was much like a B&B stay, with the exception of breakfast. It offered buffet style instead of a plated meal. The dining area was very small, but served the purpose. Hot breakfast items were served at 8:00 AM. Our guest room was a little more eclectic than Victorian, yet nicely...

We stayed here after the long drive from SFO and went to Yosemite the next day, staying one more night. There is much to like. Rooms are comfy, the setting is enjoyable (we saw quail, hummingbirds, etc. in the area below the patio), the breakfast/snacks are OK. It is a quiet and enjoyable setting. The two nits? The wifi only...

We booked this room in advance so that we would have a nice room after visiting Yosemite. We are glad that we did. The rooms were similar to a nice hotel room with quite nice accommodations. There were snacks to greet us in the evening. The house as nestled off the main road in a pleasant setting. I would highly...

The Hound´s Tooth Inn was a wonderful discovery. I made the reservation based on a Trip Advisor recommendation but never expected anything so comfortable and enjoyable. The hosts were just wonderful in the B&B style traditional and offered all the comfort and convenience we could ask for and at a reasonable price. The crown was a wonderful breakfast with everything...

Stopped here based on good reviews and upon arrival thought this was a sure fir five star review. Good location with lots of restaurants nearby and an easy drive into Yosemite for the one day we needed. Albeit I personally would not want to do the drive everyday if staying a long time Room was huge and bed very comfortable...
