Beautifully decorated hotel located in the heart of Oceanside. Great customer service from the moment we checked in. Access to amenities next door at the Mission Pacific Hotel. Beach chairs and umbrellas available for free. If you don’t want to valet you can pay $5 and park at the public lot next door. (Buy a new parking ticket at midnight for the next day). The hotel property is across the street from the beach and has a variety of locations to relax. A great staycation resort hotel!!
My experience at Seabird Resort was positive from beginning to end. It's a beautiful new hotel with a great, relaxing vibe. Our reservations agent, Jen Kendrick, went above and beyond. The valet guys were super helpful and friendly. Front desk and all other employees, including the breakfast restaurant were cheerful. Our suite was very clean and roomy. We barely left the balcony which overlooked the Pacific across the street. I look forward to coming back!
This is a Hyatt property. Very cute and great location. Only 4 months old. Front desk, bell hop, valet and house keeping was excellent. Sarah the front desk manager took care of us when our bathroom sink was leaking horribly. She got us another room with the same west ocean view and moved our room herself since the bell was busy. They recognize globalist status and upgraded us to oceanview. They had a nice box of chocolate waiting at our room and breakfast was covered. Special shout out to Johnny the bellhop for excellent customer service and food recommendations. Now my only complaint was dining at Piper. The restaurant manager seriously lacks customer service. We went for our globalist breakfast which is only served at the Piper. When we got there, it was busy and the host told us that we needed to wait 30 minutes. They never asked us if we were hotel guest and the hostess who sat us the day before and knew I was a globalist completely ignored us. I went back to my room and made a phone call for in room dining and discovered that the menu is limited and room service is usually not covered. The guest service person told me that they usually have preferential treatment for globalist and that they should not have told me that I had to wait 30 minutes when there were several tables available. He told me that he will find out and give me a call back. At call back in 10 minutes, he told me a table was ready to and to talk to the restaurant manager. So we went back and asked for the restaurant manager. He came by, barely looked at us and sat us done at the table. He didn't even speak to us and never even gave us the menu. We sat another 20 minutes before the waitress realized we didn't have the menu and asked who sat us. When we told her it was the restaurant manager, she didn't seem surprised. That really goes to show they need to hire a new restaurant manager. He was not happy there and the whole time we were there, he never asked any of the patrons how everything is. He was just busy cleaning tables and being super grumpy. All in all, beside the grumpy manager, everything else was perfect. Location, great restaurants nearby, beautiful beach, pool, library, hotel lounges, etc. We will definitely go back.…
loved it...loved it all. cool place and gracious staff. can't wait to come back. we came for business and spent most of time in the library for various meetings with 20 people. we were well taken care of by staff. and the hotel facilities are all feel good spaces...the art rocks it.
Location, beauty, style, ambience, service, food, friendliness and BEST of everything! Piper's provide an amazing Breakfast with unique and delicious items. We choice to share the food so we could taste many items and ALL of our choices were out of this world! The pool area has a view like no other and the service and friendliness was so welcoming! You will love this hotel and you feel like ROYALTY!
