Hidden Gem. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many rooms are updated. The views are spectacular!! My go to place when I travel here for business. Walking distance to restaurants and bars and marina. I can sit outside and watch the fishermen, the sailers, kayakers and the sea lions from my balcony. Clean laundry facility for those who travel.

I recommended that my friends stay one night here because it is in such a beautiful setting. They invited me to see their room. The carpet and tile are old and there was shredded and torn fibers exposed and separating the two materials. There was a white milkshake like stain on the couch which is hopefully just a food product? It was pretty bad. I mean it creeps into your imagination right? It’s dirty. Also… noise upstairs kept them from a restful sleep.

The reason I give a 5 rating is location, price and staff! Property is older, not brand new or sparkling clean. Pool and pool area are aging but clean, with fresh pool towels. Barbecue area is functional but could use some sprucing up. Landscaping is kept nicely. Rooms show wear and tear but are clean, functional and beds are comfortable. Harbor restaurants and shops are an easy walk @ 20 minutes. My favorite is the Lighthouse. You can rent boats there or take tour boat. Beach is a bit further! We drop of all our beach items then leave car at hotel and ride a bike back to beach. Easy & save $$. Every staff member I met was kind and helpful, especially Noella. We will stay again.

For the price paid, it was a rip off. Staff was friendly, but I couldn't wait to check out and come home because of how uncomfortable the rooms were. I felt like I was camping out. Don't stay here in summer. Stay someplace with air conditioning. It's hot and humid in Oceanside. Never again.

My two night stay turned into a 2-minute stay. I am completely blown away by the reviews or should I say the positive reviews of this hotel. Upon checking in I was shown to my room which first off the smell alone would have sent anybody running. The carpets were filthy the furniture stained no shower curtain and no bedding on the beds. Did I mention the smell and no air conditioning. After refusing the first room I was shown a second room which was if possible worse than the first room. The rooms are filthy and outdated and the staff is not very helpful. I wish I would have taken pictures of the room so I could have posted along with my review but I had to get out of that place as fast as possible. We were then left to fend for ourselves and find another hotel for the two nights we were to stay at Marina suites. I do live in Oceanside and was only there to show my sister a good time I have since been told that they are giving vouchers out to the homeless to stay at this location. The location itself is very nice but after dark it is eerie and some shady characters are roaming the area.on top of the whole nightmare it took me almost 3 months to receive my refund through reservations.com which is a whole nother story I will not get into but please travelers be wary of this hotel it is the dirtiest smelliest filthiest most disgusting place I have been in in a long time it is worse than a motel or any motel I've ever stayed at.
