As long as you don't expect the Capri to be a 5-star resort, you will not be disappointed.
Cool, kitschy renovated 50's motel with a nice pool, walking distance to town, and fun lobby! Great base for a few days. Spotty wifi, odd bathrooms, but...More
The Capri is definitely an interesting place. It has a cool 60's vibe to it from the outside view. The lobby especially. Very retro feel. The hotel itself is very much boutique. Only like 30 rooms. The room was pretty standard size. Big king size...More
For what you pay, it's an amazing location. Ojai is full of $$$ that are right on the strip with the shopping and restaurants. This is right on the strip, just steps away from everything.
Here is where I agree with the other posters:

I would ask to speak to Christopher at The Capri, I think he's the manager/owner. I was once charged for an additional night when I was already checked out and they corrected the error right away. If that fails I would contact my credit card and try to get a refund that way. I was onced charged hotel fees when my Groupon didn't say fees would be charged and I got that refunded by American Express.
