however our room had an over bearing smell of cleaning chemicals.
I mentioned this to the manager and she politely apologized, but then mentioned she'd never had this complaint before. I had to inform her that someone had indeed posted this problem in the past

I booked this hotel through booking.com. Theres a couple of things that should have been a red light to me. Its a bit of a senior citizen home. Think Golden girls! The lobby is very outdated. They are not honest and clear with their rules...More
