I came here on Business last August 2017. I absolutely loved this place, so quiet, so quaint, lots of room in my room/ living room/ kitchen. I even took a bike out for a spin. Great value !! Make sure you rent a car so...More

Hi Autumn - love the review. Thanks so much for staying with us here in Tahoe!
We spent a week at Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley and had a fantastic vacation. The rooms were clean, location outstanding and the staff supportive caring and friendly. I don't think anyone could ask for a more ideal location right at the Village with...More

I booked a room at the end of fall and still got plenty of snow and winter fun! The room was extra comfy (single) and the location is central to all food, skiing and night life. A short drive to South and North Tahoe. I've...More

Hello Rachelmgarza2017. Thank you for the top rating - happy you enjoyed your stay! We sincerely thank you for your wonderful review.
We can't wait until your next trip with us!
Took 4 hours from Reno airport with snowmagedon. So worth it even for one night. Had view of ski area. Snowed all day. Snowboarded for free thanks to Squaws fly and ski free promo this winter. Nick at check in was very welcoming.

Accommodations are great . Three hot tubs and a family area which has exercise equipment . Beautiful view of the mountain and right next to Squaw Village which has great shopping and restaurants . Also next to Squaw ski and snowboard school.

you should start getting a light frosting on the mountain at the time you're going in November. my sister-in-law lives about 40 minutes away from Lake Tahoe so I'm very familiar with the weather and the general area degrees wise at night late twenties midday upper fifties. as far as hiking trails weather permitting if there's not a lot of snow on the ground there's plenty of trails that you can hike. there's plenty exploring hiking to do just be sure to do your research and don't underestimate the weather when you go in the Heights you definitely are going to the right place

In house activities include a Monday morning welcome breakfast, wine and cheese night, movie night, picture frame painting, guided snow shoe hike, holiday treat decorating, hot apple pie (hard cider), s'mores by the firepit etc. Squaw Valley resort offers skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, sledding, tubing etc. The weather is unpredicatable, but we recommend you prepare for winter weather ranging from the 20's to the 50's.
1. You will need chains if it snows.
2. Ice skating, tubing, sledding.
3. Please view the following websites for other activity information in and around the lake. squawalpine, gotahoenorth, tahoe and yes, Reno is worth a visit as well.
4. There is a small market located in The Village at Squaw Valley, but for grocery shopping you will need to go to the Safeway in Truckee (10mi) or the Savemart or Safeway in Tahoe City (7mi). There are no malls in Lake Tahoe, however Reno does have an indoor mall.
5. We do not have a pool onsite. We have 3 heated outdoor spas.
We look forward to your visit in March and please do not hesitate to call us with any additional questions at 530-583-7226.
