Everything we needed for a 2 night stay for 99 dollars. Modern, clean, and very comfortable beds. Just a few blocks away from the coast. Loved staying in pacific grove vs monterey. Quiet and quaint. Nice breakfast spread and free wine hour was a plus.

The cottages are located one block from the beautiful ocean and walking distance to the darling town. They have a nice breakfast buffet and happy hour with good wine/appetizers. The rooms have been recently remodeled with nice bedding. I would stay there again.

My first impression was skeptical as some pointed out there is some maintenance/ upkeep that needs to be completed. The carpeting in the dining room for breakfast was very old and worn, the sink in the bathroom was clogged, the shower curtain was hung crooked and the bathroom wall was warping. On the other hand the furniture was new, the...

We reserved a cottage suite from Hotel.com and noted we were bringing our two dogs. I don't think you can make a reservation directly with the lodge -- I never found a phone number or web site that allowed this. Hotels.com said it was dog-friendly and we would be charged a $50 fee for the 3 day stay. Fine with...

What is one supposed to think when the door mat of the office that first greets guests is worn, tattered, and natty looking? The room and cabin areas were the same: cob webs, lack of maintenance throughout, outdated and worn outdoor fixtures, slow draining shower. If you can get beyond that, the beds were fine and room not bad in...

We stayed in one of the Studio Cottages and were very pleased with the condition and amenities the room had. The early evening Wine & Cheese spread was excellent and the chef-prepared breakfasts was also excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and the value was well worth the price. We'll stay here again.

Our King Lodge room is nice and clean. It's comfy and roomy because of high beam ceiling. The bed is very comfortable; we slept good through out the night. The breakfast is decent. Plz tip the kitchen folks - I could see they work hard to keep everything great for guests.

This place looks good in photos, but don't be fooled. In person, it really needs some work. Our rooms were not very clean and in need of repair. In fact the screen door fell off, we didn't ever get clean towels, the soda machine was broken (front desk knew and didn't even put up a sign) and there is trash...

We booked here to try out a new 'dog friendly' place. Here's the good and the bad. First, the good. The room was average sized, not spacious, but adequate. It was nicely furnished, clean and seemed upgraded recently (except for the carpet, but then they put us in a room for dogs). It had a small fridge, microwave (that we...

Hi, I am writing this with the hope that before you stay here you will require a room check. I am now in a new room and I just explained to the front desk that I have never once complained about any hotel and I have absolutely never changed rooms. This evening however, was a different story. What irks me...
