This is a great pool environment, and one of the desert classics. Great pools, good service, lots of extras like ice and water and clean bathrooms. A new addition is a professional falconer named Ken who works the pool area as an employee of the resort, using his super cool falcons to scare away annorying birds! Ken was exceptionally interesting...

We stayed during a very busy weekend & I was very impressed how well trained all the staff is. From valet, to front desk, to interactions with staff throughout the property. Our room was nice but I will say the mattresses could be better. This JW is massive but everything is there so you really do t have to leave....

Stayed here for 3 nights in February. The hotel is quite large which I found to be a good thing. At least four restaurants, bars, three pools (one was more quiet and less crowded than the others), several boutique shops. It was lovely. The rooms were very well equipped and updated, but not over the top fancy. Every room has...

We were here for a large conference. The resort accommodated the conference well, but the grounds and hotel were LARGE. It was a 5-10 minute walk from the lobby to our room. The layout was like a labyrinth (seriously, I felt like I should be dropping bread crumbs to find my way back). To get to our room, we had...

We stayed at the Marriott Desert Springs Villas II for the week which is adjacent to the Desert Springs resort. However, we frequently stroll over to the resort JWM in the morning or evening. The grounds are always a delight to take in---unbelievable mountain views and spectacular "photo ops" everywhere! One of the most impressive of many water features is...

The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort is a first class hotel with beautiful surroundings. The regular rooms and bathrooms are spacious with both a shower and tub in my room. Get a "lake" view if possible as you can see the man-built lake inside the property, the pool area, and the mountains. The property is beautifully lit up at night....

This resort hotel has everything you could want in a hotel......everything. A tad on the expensive side but all first class. Their pool areas were fantistic and made afternoon lounging in the sun the thing to do. Will return.

Stayed here for one night last week for a conference. Despite being told by friends the hotel was sold out, they still were able to check me in early (around 12:30pm) and provide me with my preferred room location (top floor.) Room was nice, clean. Beds were comfy - bathroom was pretty large. Balcony was great - large enough to...

When I checked out after a 5-night stay, a lovely girl named Destiny helped me. She asked if I was a Marriott Rewards member. I haven't traveled much in recent years, so frankly, I didn't remember. She offered to look up my name and see, because the points I would earn for this stay alone would nearly get me a...

This is a destination property that is first class in all respects. However, the two golf courses define and control the experience. The grounds are expertly maintained, including the inviting pools. However, the location is somewhat remote from other action, therefore, a car may be well advised for those wishing to wander. This is not a night life venue. This is...
