It's been 6 years since the last trip to Palm Springs but we returned to the Ingleside Inn since we love the character of the place. The staff never change and the hotel, located on the edge of Palm Springs is close enough to the action but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our room was clean...

I have stayed at Ingleside Inn twice and really enjoyed myself. The Inn is step back to what Palm Springs was "back in the day." The pool is huge and great to swim or relax. The rooms are individually named and each room has its own décor.

We were here on a blessedly rare cooler weekend in May. The in-wall AC unit was not able to keep up with cooling the room to comfortable levels with the outdoor temperatures being in the 90s during the day, which meant the first part of the night was difficult to sleep. The little square fridge inside the room was also...

This is a place you should stay. Worth a special trip to Palm Springs. I've gone for a week and never left the gates. Hands down the best lodging ever. This is the mansion where Greta All rooms are unique and furnished with beautiful anti Garbo lived out the last several decades of her long life after declaring: "I vant...

It was a refreshing change the the sameness of most modern hotels with a unique charm and beautiful grounds. You could just imagine the previous famous guests sauntering around the grounds. A welcome basket of goodies in our room was a nice touch and the complimentary newspaper. The only downside was that our room was very close to the next...

What a fun place to stay, reeking with Hollywood history and reflecting a classic, old world ambiance. This is not 5 star, pretentious, chain-owned lodging; but rather a captivating, old, small hotel with tasteful upgrades, featuring numerous styles and individual room decors. There may be an occasional, slightly worn edge here and there; but it is all well maintained and...

Step back into the bygone era of high class and elegance. A stay at the Ingleside Inn is one to remember. I have been staying at this Inn ever since it opened over 40 years ago. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms with all the high end amenities that you would expect from such a first-class establishment. Everything from standard...

We stumbled onto the Ingleside on HotelTonight and are so very glad we did. We were looking for something unique charming, romantic and quiet. We found all of those things here. The service was amazing. Everyone was so nice. We were blown away by the room. We were given the Library room and at first though we must have been...

great people watching in the bar along with $13 glasses of miserably bad wine. the place is fun but anyone who thinks the food is 4 or 5 stars has apparently not eaten out anywhere else for the last 40 years.

This hotel is in serious need of upgrades and yet prices are still pretty high. Lobby is charming enough but service is lacking and not until I complained twice because first bathroom was dirty did they switch my room. New room is better but still very sub par for the price. Cold, old, and damp. No more vintage and charming...
