What a quaint bed and breakfast in the heart of Palm Springs! Superb renovated room quality, service, and facilities. The hotel also has great views; desert mountains right behind. Bang for the buck! My family would definitely be back. Thanks Casa Cody!

Took my husband to Casa Cody for a weekend stay for his birthday and it was such a treat. We knew that it had recently been remodeled and management had changed, so we realized it was a bit of a gamble. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful grounds (lots of fruit trees!), the updated rooms, and the amenities. Our favorite amenity was the rounds of snacks that they brought us by the pool - frozen grapes, sliced pineapple, otter pops. It was such a nice touch. Oh, and the staff couldn't have been any friendlier, especially Kenneth at the front desk who was beyond accommodating. It was also so nice and conveniently located - we could walk to get all meals, and enjoyed bicycle rides in the morning. We'll definitely be back!

Decided to stay and extra night and even with a room change was so impressed by the consistency and high standards. Super friendly staff, private and serene property with a fantastic location. So peaceful it’s hard to believe it’s less than a block from the downtown strip. Highly recommend. Hard to leave!

People will go nuts for this place when word gets out. Entering the gate feels like stepping onto the grounds of a classic California mission, updated with intimate desert gardens and simple, elegant lounge spaces. The mix of restored historic charm and modern comforts is seamless. From the get-go everything was easy. We had made a booking error that would have been major drama at most hotels, and could easily have led to hours of sitting and waiting for overrides and approvals. Instead, the manager just said, "No problem. We fixed the booking; let me know if you get charged anything extra and I'll take care of it." Boom, done. As if it wasn't even our fault (it definitely was!!) As we were led to our room the concierge was excited to point out the fruit trees we were welcome to pick fruit from. The room itself was old-Spanish charm, with original tile floors and exposed-beam ceilings. Everything else was as thoughtfully curated as a modern boutique - thoughtful, local products in the mini-bar; plush bedding; and, usually I don't care much about shower products, but oh man I wanted to steal these. (I swear I didn't!) The space is so well organized for privacy that we didn't even notice a second pool and hot tub until we were checking out, as well as several more tucked-away cottages. We only stayed for a night, but when we checked out, cheesy as it sounds - it really felt as if we were leaving home.

Room Tip: Honestly all of the rooms seemed great but the cottages in the rear have extra privacy.

We just returned from an absolutely incredible weekend at Casa Cody in Palm Springs. THE ROOM: We stayed in a gorgeous two bedroom suite right by the pool. The room has a layout that maximizes privacy with the bedrooms on opposite ends and no shared walls. Each bedroom had a ceiling fan, an AC unit, blackout curtains, and spectacular beds which made our stay so comfortable. The charming kitchen was fully equipped with a mini fridge and gas range oven. We brought a cooler filled with ice, which we highly recommend if you plan on storing cold items as the fridge is pretty small. If you plan on cooking, just let the front desk know and they will provide you with whatever you need. Throughout the suite, we noticed so much attention to detail and so many wonderful design choices, I wanted to ask where every single thing came from so I could look it up and hope to afford it for myself: the rugs, the pool towels, the leather couch, the kitchen chairs, the curtains, the robes, even the dishtowels - it was all so luxurious and lovely. THE PROPERTY: We were all amazed by the natural beauty of the grounds. The bougainvilleas were bursting with color and seemed to be the happiest and fullest I've ever seen. There are also many citrus and old growth trees giving the property great character. Be sure to walk the entire grounds as there is a beautiful fountain and decorative wood-carved art pieces on one tucked away side. There is a big hot tub and two wonderful pools with plenty of umbrellas and comfortable lounge chairs. The atmosphere by the pool is relaxing and calming, exactly what you're looking for if you're just trying to "get away," ideal for reading and sunbathing. LOCATION: It couldn't be better situated. 2 blocks from the Palm Spring Museum of Art, 2 blocks from the center of S. Palm Canyon Drive (the city's main street), and a 15 minute drive from the Aerial Tramway. A very short walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. Be sure to take advantage of the bicycles and take them out for a spin around the area. It's a really flat, bike-friendly town with wide streets and many great mid-century homes all around. They also have bike locks. STAFF: Helpful, accommodating, never hard to find, and super kind. Whether we needed a bottle opener or extra towels or wanted to use the bikes, they always provided us with wonderful service. Casa Cody is the oldest hotel in Palm Springs, lending tremendous charm, while also having modern comforts and finishes after just completing a major renovation. I'm happy to see they preserved the Saltillo tile floors, the wood burning fireplace, the original windows, and the landscaping. This is an absolute gem and one of the best kept secrets of Palm Springs!
