A very comforting place from the minute you enter the office. Whether a short stay ( unfortunately our stay was too short ) or a longer one the location could not be better and the gardens and pool relax you although the putting green was a test. The house was bright and airy with lovely views. We will be back...

This will be our regular Palm Springs home away from home! The dogs loved it, we loved it, even my mom loved it when she stopped in for a visit. Just like home! Everything is easy going, no stress, beautifully maintained and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Just let Ron or Norma know if there's anything amiss, like...

But we just can't and we must share the news about this fabulous little gem of a resort. We are very well travelled but first timers to this resort which included our 2 labs who were made to feel very welcome. Early 50's hotel which has been painstakingly restored with original detailing but modernized where it counts, extremely clean, quiet...

We have stayed at APITS for 8 years, one week in January for the film festival. It is a "homey" spot, very near the center of town. One bedroom suites surrounding a pool and hottub. The place is secluded by surrounding trees and shrubbery. You can miss it even with its distinctive sign! The owners and management are gracious hosts...

We just returned home after spending 5 days here - it was wonderful...The grounds are beautifully kept, the bungalows are sparkling clean and well-equipped. We have stayed here twice - the first time just before the present owners purchased the property in 1999 - they have done a fabulous job - upgrading where necessary while maintaining the "Palm Springs movie...

I’ve just returned from a Paradise named ‘A Place in the Sun’ in Palm Springs. This was my 5th - and Best trip! (although I’ve said that every single time) Each return visit brings more delight and upgrades and relaxation and fabulous, squeaky clean accommodations and friendly people – both the staff and the other guests I met and talked...

What isn't there to say about this fantastic get a way! Do they make it easy for you and or your pet to enjoy your day in the sun? With out question. Bar B Q's on the week ends, privacy off the living room area with your own fenced in yard. Hot tubbing at midnight, and comfy lounge's around a...

We are experienced travelers and have stayed in hotels of all catergories around the world. I chose A Place in the Sun because I wanted to experience an inn and not a large hotel in Palm Springs. There are many choices in Palm Springs for smaller properties like this one. After having stayed there, the only reason we would consider...

A very pleasant oasis experience. Palm trees, lush green grounds, comfortable bungalows, sparkling pool and Jacuzzi, quiet, yet central Palm Springs location with easy free parking. Norma, Ron & Joe go out of their way to make you feel at home!

A dog friendly hotel is very important for me, but these cabañas also are charming and comfy for people without a pet who want a homey, relaxing experience. There is no spa or restaurant. Look elsewhere for those services. However, the pool, the Jacuzzi, the desert clime, and the views make coming here like like owning a mini condo. The...
