This is a review for The Barn Kitchen at Sparrows Lodge, which hosts pop-up dinners on Wednesday and Saturday of each week. Non-hotel guests can reserve spots at the family-style table by e-mailing the hotel directly, which is what I did months in advance. I made a dinner reservation for February 16, 2017 for six (6) people on December 13,...

We loved the minimalist approach but found the bed to be uncomfortable and the lighting in the room a bit too minimalist to see things well. We loved the cozy outdoor fire pit and especially relished the family style dinner.

My husband and I just returned from the Sparrows Lodge yesterday. We actually extended our stay for one more night because we weren't ready to leave and wanted to stay for the Wednesday night family style dinner. From the second we walked through the door and were greeted in the "barn", we were smitten. It's rustic, upscale, tranquil setting is...

Sparrows Lodge is beautiful and it seems to know it. The staff seems to think you should be grateful for being allowed to stay there. Certainly not worth the price to be made to feel like you should careful because if you unknowningly break a rule you will be in trouble!

This place is a marketing piece of hype just like Brooklyn where I'm from. Who could ever predict that you would pay MORE for a room with no TV, phone, decent furniture or lighting!! Value has been turned on it's head. Pay more, a lot more for a place with little or no amenities. Yes we had an outdoor space...

This is a hard review with which to come to terms. Am I very glad I stayed here? Yes. Did it have some spectacular unique qualities? Yes. Would I stay here again? Well, maybe. First the positive. The vibe. The 21 and over only policy. Dogs allowed - yes! The other guests. THE DINNERS! The fire pit. I even liked...

Stayed at the Sparrows for 3 nights. Welcomed by warm and friendly staff. The hotel is an amazing oasis in the city. Stayed in Room 19 in the back of the hotel, although it didn't have a private patio, the garden area with orange/lemon trees was a great place to sit and relax. Had a delicious lunch one day from...

Adorable rustic hotel. Loved the small feel of it. The sage that they burn makes it smell amazing inside and out. Good food and drinks. Beautiful rooms. Would absolutely stay again. Note: Palm Springs is ridiculously hot in June.

Tucked inside Sparrows Lodge is a charming secret garden and restaurant. The Lodge is easy to miss... look for a small sign with black sparrows and turn into the dirt parking lot. Entering the front door, you might still wonder whether you are in the right place... you step into a delightful living room space complete with fireplace, sofa, chairs...

My husband and I stayed at the Sparrow’s Lodge in November. It is a perfect boutique hotel/resort for anyone staying in the area looking for peace and serenity. We spent most days lounging by the pool getting some sun and loved the atmosphere. The size of the hotel really allowed us to get to know the staff who are all...
