This is one of the best places to stay on Palm Springs- small, quiet, clean, (no children/ no pets) and convenient location. Desert Hills is located about 4 blocks west of Palm Canyon on Arenas Rd. and an easy walk to the Tennis Club or Spencer's as well as the heart of downtown PS. Hotel offers gorgeous "foot of the...

This hotel is wonderful. We stayed 15 years ago and it's taken a while to return but wasn't it worth it!!! Firstly arrived late in the evening and have to say thanks to Abby and Johanna (the 2nd management) in room 2 for helping us to get checked in. What can I say about this beautiful place, it's quiet, relaxed...

As promised after our Christmas 2014 visit (see long review February 7, 2015) as soon as we parked the car and walked through the gate with our luggage it just felt like we had come home, particularly since we had the same room (#6). We were late arrivals and as promised our room was unlocked with the lights on and...

Needing some R&R, we decided to head off to Palm Springs for a 3 night get-away. We usually stay in the historic "Tennis" district near downtown, and I'm SO glad my husband remembered the name of this little gem. No kids, no pets, and no smoking allowed….just peace and quiet. We called and talked to Barbara, the most wonderful manager...

I really don't want to tell anyone about this treasure though I feel recognition is well deserved and warranted. My husband and I stayed here in July, a bit of respite from our Australian winter. I couldn't have been any happier than I was lazing by and in the pool. It was super quiet here, and I often found to...

We would never have found this great hotel had it not been for Coachella. The hotel we had stayed in a couple of times before doubled their rates so we looked around for a better deal. Not only is the Desert Hills a better deal, our room #4 was a whole apartment with a private patio in the back. Rachel...

A friend and I stayed three nights this past weekend at this delightful hotel. We stayed in the two bedroom, two bath unit at the front of the one story building. It was wonderful. Very spacious and furnished with everything you could possibly need including a full kitchen, with a refrigerator and cookware. The unit had been totally redone about...

We have been staying at DHH for years and have made many lasting friendships at DHH. Over the years, there have been many changes and this is understandable as there have been several changes in ownership. The new air conditioning system is great and quiet. yay. And the new arbour is great - even though several palm trees had to...

My husband and I visited in March and we had reservations for 3 nights, but when our flight was delayed I called to let them know we would be arriving 1 day late and they were so kind to accommodate us and did not charge for the late cancelation. Once we arrived the next day we were welcomed for what...

A true gem tucked away but yet very close to town. Had a great room. We were there when it was rainy but would have loved to use the pool and spa area. Everyone was helpful. Enjoyed our trip and would definitely return !
