We got an off-season deal on Groupon so our expectations were cautious, but Colony Palms was a fantastic get away. Beautiful gardens, great food and service, and very comfortable rooms. The pool with its chic lounge chairs and people watching was the highlight. Not sure if this place would be too much about the 'hip LA, beautiful people' in the...

I love this cute Moroccan themed getaway. The rooms surround a lush garden with pool and bar/restaurant. The food was great and the service top notch. Our room was a bit small but we really liked the bath!

So, we went to Palm Springs, as we have many times before, to take two days away from our hectic lives in LA, and relax. What makes this trip different from all the others, is that this time, staying at the colony Palms, my husband and I decided to cancel all our plans for the 2 days after the trip,...

I have a house out in the desert but needed to get away from it all so decided to check into the Colony Palms. And boy am I glad I did. The place is small and is built around the pool and restaurant--Purple Palm--which makes you feel like you are very remote when in actuality you are on one of...

We love Palm Springs and go so frequently that it was fun to try a new place. We usually stay at the Viceroy, but this was a lovely change. The grounds and architecture make it feel like you're staying at someone's beautiful home. Gorgeous lush grass, fruit trees, and flowers everywhere. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Nice adult vibe by the...

Enjoyed a weekend getaway at the terrific Colony Palms. Service was personal and gracious from the moment of arrival, and the front desk staff was eagerly accommodating of questions and requests. The grounds are beautiful and evocative, consisting of courtyards and landscaped walkways with exotic Moroccan flourishes that make one feel far away from the workaday routine. Stone buddhas near...

Such a beautiful property, my new favorite hotel in the desert (I go often). Purple Palm restaurant is outstanding, service is top notch, the pool is serene (and they don't blare the music like all the other PS hotels), yet hip. One of the best massages of my life topped off a great weekend getaway (ask for Pam). My room...

I needed a little getaway time to refresh myself after a very busy work schedule so I decided to treat myself to a desert retreat. I'm so glad that I chose the Colony Palms Hotel (after much research and comparison work.) The hotel is a lovely Moroccan oasis in the middle of the desert. What I enjoyed about it most...

We came across this boutique hotel accidentally, the pictures looked pretty nice (but you never know) so I called the hotel to inquire further, the staff was really helpful so I went ahead and booked directly through them right then. My fiance and I were celebrating our engagement and his birthday so we wanted to do something really special but...

Everything was clean and modern with a kind of Moroccan hint to it. Each room seemed like it's own private villa with a table and chairs outside the door and privacy from the trees and flowers surrounding each building. The pool was very nice with iced lemon water provided poolside as well as private tables with curtains that closed. The...
