Stanford brought me in for a visit, and put the entire contingent of prospective doctoral students up in the Cardinal Hotel. What a strange and wonderful accommodation. The hotel is very easy on the eyes, and is overall impeccably clean and comfortable. As part of...More

A wonderful place to stay, close to restaurants & walkable to Stanford. The staff offered exceptional service, and the hotel partners with a cute French cafe for breakfast. Depending on where your room is, the street noise can be loud (but the provide earplugs).More

There is an elevator right by the registration desk. However, I do not recall rooms on the first floor. Also, you will want to call to check for an accessible entrance. I am remembering stairs at the two entrances.
