I was in town with friends (but staying at the Town House Motel as a solo guest) for the Firestone Walker 20th Anniversary party at their brewery. All of the mid- to upscale hotels in the area were asking for hundreds of $$$ per night, but the Town House Motel was running a Booking.com special for only $80/night. Seeing as...

The only missing thing is cockroaches, otherwise it would have been the perfect hotel of the worst nightmare. Spotted towels, spotted pillows, air conditioner working only on/off, old furniture, high cost. Gentle service.

Took a last minute trip to Paso Robles on a crazy busy weekend during the recent wine country tasting festival. Stayed here since it was the only place for a reasonable price. Bed was comfortable, pillows need to be updated. The room was clean, entry doors secure. The flooring was clean, but needs updating. We could here the people in...

Stay here only if you are desperate and your level of tolerance is very high. Clean beds but run down interior. This one it takes you back to the 60's. But if you don't want to drive to Atascadero after having dinner and drinking wine you can stay in here when all other hotels are full.

Best thing - quiet, convenient location and a decently comfortable bed. However - it is dingy and worn. The shower is spacious enough - however the shower head is designed for short people. Controls were a little weird - couldn't regulate the water temperature very well - went from scalding to freezing and back again. However - it is clean...

This place is so quiet even though it's on the main road. Brick built and double glazing (something Americans don't seem to know about) mean good sound and temperature insulation and blackout curtains mean no light pollution. Very powerful aircon, took very little time to get the room cool, even on a day that hit 41 degrees C (104 F)....

Clean rooms. It's really correct. Don't care about old comments from 2007-2008. Now, it's a nice place... Wifi is a little slowly... Only 68 dollars for 2. All others are really expensive. And they have a pool in this place.

When every other hotel in Paso Robles is full, chances are there will still be rooms at the Town House because it is so horrible. We stayed for only one night, because this was the only motel with rooms available in Paso Robles. Not only are the rooms dated and in a state of disrepair, they are also dirty to...

There was utdated, dangerous furniture (e.g. nails sticking out of furniture, holes in the floor covered by carpet) to start. There were rodents in our room! We caught a mouse that got into a grocery bag I brought with us that was filled with food. We brought it to the night attendant, who offered to knock $20 off of the...
