This motel is in a fantastic location with each room having a sea view! Free parking was very convenient for us too. Our room was small, but it did have everything we needed and was very clean. Great price too! Only downside is that the wifi wasn't great at all, but with the beach right outside the door who needs... More

All the reviews seem to have got it just about right. Great location right on the Beach, but very basic property, no air con in our room at least, though it wasn't really needed with night temps even in July. Would have been shocked at how basic the room was for the price if not for warned, Shower was good... More

Lovely little stop. We were lucky enough to stumble across this place. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Cosy little room with plenty of cable tv if you don't like to be outside. Amazing location for price. Would stay again if passing by.

The location of the Dolphin Cove Motel cannot be beat! It is right on the beach, and walking distance to both Splash Cafe and Old West Cinnamon Rolls (both must eats in Pismo). The room was decent and clean, though the walls are a little thin. But, it's an old motel, so thin walls are not unexpected. What was odd... More

I can't really complain because my kids loved it. They loved the fact that it was literally next to the beach. We sat outside as we watched the sunset with our dinner. They could of at least wash their tables and chairs daily.. (I had to wash it because it was so dirty).. I would come back to this location... More

On our drive from San Francisco to L.A we stopped here overnight. Clean and comfortable rooms. Powerful shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location - right on the pier of Pismo Beach. Excellent value for money.

Great location: at wharf, steps to the beach, wharf and restaurants. No view from RM one, but not in room that much. Door lock needs to be more secure, especially when in room. No closet, only hook on door and shower door (i was there for a wedding and had to be creative with my dress). TV had more channels... More

Been coming here for close to twenty years with my family since my daughters were small. This motel had been in steady decline over the years, especially with the previous managers/owners. We only kept coming back because of the location, close to the beach, town, and the pier. We came in early July this year and new owners Kris and... More

In short, this was THE worst motel experience my wife and I have ever had. We don't expect much from a motel but this was a disgrace given the price. My honest advise is to seek out a better, more professionally ran motel. In detail: We are on a trip around the USA and decided to book a room here... More

I have a bad back so good bed is my first requirement in a hotel/motel, and this one had an excellent bed. Another good thing: It's right on the beach! We loved sitting in the little patio area and watching the ocean and reading. As for the rest, the motel is old and rather shabby and the decor is very... More
