Placerville you say? Glen Morey is a 10 minute walk from old Placerville. Placerville has some great places to eat, art galleries to dwell over, and great boutiques. As for Glen Morey, it's family owned. The Edinburgh room has a great big beautiful bed and a smaller bed for the kid or your stuff. The living room was great to...

Stayed solo for 3 nights in 150 year old house, which was in a great location near hwy 50, which is the main artery for area. Quick safe walk to Downtown historic Placerville across hwy on pedestrian bridge. House was nicely decorated in period furnishings. Room was comfortable and roomy. Owner, Tom, was very nice and made the best breakfasts,...

Such a Quint and Unique place. Built in the 1850's with allot of history and charm inside and out. Sits on about 2 acres of almost completely fenced yard. Walking distance to the center of town. Each room different and or unique in its own way. We stayed in the one with an adjoining patio which made it easy for...

PROS: Staff is great, beds are great, breakfast is out of this world, everything inside fits the home, built in the 1850s. We had no contract with the resident ghost. CONS: The building in not ADA compliant, (the wife has trouble walking and the path was rough and the steps had no rails), parking is limited to one car per...

This is the second time we have stay there in the last four years. The property is right in town but stands on a very private large lot with lots of trees vines and bushes. It offers large rooms with private baths. A large shared sitting room has tons of books and games. You can take a short walk to...

We loved this B&B. We chose to stay here over other B&Bs in the area because of the price and we are so glad we did! Yes, it is old but that's what gives it it's charming character. Tom was so friendly and a great host. His breakfasts were delicious! As many of the other reviews have stated it could...

This is the 3rd oldest house in Placerville according to our host. The place has lot of character, but it needs some TLC. Their breakfast was good. My son liked the brownies. I like the fact that you can walk to Main St. from the B&B. The yards needs to be spruced up. We stayed at the Inverness room. The...

We stayed at he GlenMorey Country House for our anniversary. Having some difficulty finding the home we were greeted by Tom who was the best host. The room we were given was the Edinburgh. Very charming with vintage style. This room had no extra seating so we were sitting on the bed or outside on the nice porch or in...

This Bed and Breakfast is over 150 years old and has been added on to over the years. The rooms are nice sized and there is a nice living area to sit and read. There was a music player that had CD's and a table where you could play games or work puzzles. It is all on one floor which...

Very slight challenge to locate. Extremely welcoming family. Beds and rooms excellent. Well meaning breakfast, but Tom's culinary skills need honing and the coffee was weak. Nonetheless the overall experience was good and the property is recommended without reservation. Would definitely return.
