Stayed midweek. Secluded, quiet location, away from the busy road on the peninsula where other motels and B&B are located, but still a very short drive to Point Reyes Station and the peninsula. Gorgeous view out our large windows in front of the dining table and from our large deck, comfortable easy chairs and bed, beautiful decor, very large room....

Chance and luck guided me to the Black Heron Inn when I was looking for accommodations for a special get-away to celebrate an approaching milestone for my husband. Although a little tricky to find the first time, we LOVED being at the end of a country lane (aka narrow winding dirt road) with an outlook across open land that rolls...

Enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts, the yummy breakfast they left in our room for us, and the incredible view and adjacent hiking. Only spent one night before going on to Point Reyes National Seashore and San Francisco but could see how this could be a very relaxing getaway. Very quiet and peaceful with plenty of wildlife sightings. No phone...

Lovely view wth a deck. The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The location is a great launching point for visiting Pt. Reyes National Sea Shore. Short ride into town for dinner or groceries.

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at the Black Heron Inn. All we can say is everything was perfect. Our suite was very clean, beautifully appointed, and had amazing views. The continental breakfast left in our suite for us was more than enough. The home made breads were delicious. We'll be back for sure.

We loved this B&B. Beautiful view of the preserve. Sunsets were gorgeous. We stayed in Grandview suite. Easy access to hiking and close to Point Reyes Station. Family of deer fed through while we had breakfast. Owners stock the room with simple breakfast so you don't have to worry about a schedule.

This is our third stay at The Black Heron Inn. And as with the past two times, we really enjoyed our two night stay. We stayed in the Ridge View room, the same room that we stayed in previously. It is so quiet here. The views from the deck and from the front window are just fantastic. The room is...

We stayed here four nights, while visiting our daughter working at Point Reyes Park's Environmental Education Center for the summer. The Inn is close to town and the park and was very convenient for us. The view is of course, fantastic and we saw many birds and wild animals. The room was cute, a good size, had everything we needed...

The Black Heron Inn needs some TLC. The grounds near the pond have some trash issues, quite a bit of debris. The inn itself is well weathered, could use some rehab. Our room, Bay View, was nice and well equipped. For what you get, at $185+tax, it is overpriced. Point Reyes Station is remote, area traffic was pretty bad, and...

We stayed in the Bay Room for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The bed was comfortable and everything you needed was to hand. The fact that the elements for breakfast were provided on arrival meant that you had total privacy and could come and go as you liked. We particularly appreciated the recommendations on walks in the area...
