Little expensive here. It was $75 for 2 nights. That's on a Monday Tuesday night. 1 car, no dogs. ( dogs are ok but not aloud in the water!! And extra money per night) we stayed at campsite 65 which was full of beautiful trees...More

We enjoy camping and recently tried Sly Park for a weekend. It was great! The lake was 70 degrees, the water was at 85% capacity and the weather was perfect. The camp sites have a fire pit, bbq and picnic bench. Community restrooms are clean...More

We live 500 feet from the entrance to Sly Park/Jenkinson Lake Recreation Area. I love how much the staff really tries to keep the Recreation Area clean. The day use areas are well kept. Pretty much every picnic table/bench has its own BBQ. There are...More

Great picnicking spot under the pines with tables and grills. Lovely view of the lake. There are ducks, a diving dock, boat ramps and not near as many bugs !! Close access to clean bathroom and trash bins.

The best part of this area is the lake. California generally doesn't allow any body contact with fresh water used for drinking supplies and Jenkinson lake is one of probably a half dozen exceptions from this rule, so you can actually swim there and makes...More
