The Good stuff: • All staff was super friendly and helpful. • This is a breath-taking setting with lots of room to roam. • A rustic adventure not a 5 star hotel. It’s a Dude Ranch; so don’t go in with expectations more than a step above camping. The ruggedness is part of the experience. • They take good care...

I love the dude ranch because they have great wranglers and fantastic horses. It's a great place to go for vacation and great for kids. There are four levels of riding [walk, walk/trot, lope, and kids ride]. The ranch has swimming, fishing, riding horses, skeet shooting, karaoke, bonfire, cook out and a other fun activities. For the little kids they have a kiddie corral. This is the best dude...

we had the most wonderful 4 days at greenhorn. The staff are really what makes this all very special. So friendly and it's wonderful to interact with everyone at meal times. The wranglers go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food is good and plentiful. We loved the shared table meal times. The horses are wonderful...

We were looking for somewhere to go on our Californian road trip and I found this place. We were driving from San Francisco and looked to be about a 4.5 hours drive. When we arrived, the first thing that struck me was how picturesque it is, nestled in the mountains. It took my breath away. We stayed in a 2...

I really never write reviews, however I cannot tell you how completely disappointed I am at the follow through, response and non-response of this place. We have been looking for a wedding venue for our son and his fiancé. The first e-mail responses seemed positive until we asked for a dates available in September and were told that they were...

Had an excellent stay here in Aug 2014. The ranch has a huge amount of land in the Californian national forest land that is amazingly scenic. Rooms are lodges which are perfectly spacious and clean. Meals are served communally are very relaxed and well done. The riding is extremely structured and organised. Nobody is allowed to loap (canter, 3rd gear)...

When we came back from 5 weeks of many exciting and interesting new experiences we all agreed that this was the highlight of our...

My family and I (wife and 2 boys aged 14 & 11) spent 5 nights here in July as part of a bigger road trip around California and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it completely exceeded expectations. Stay here if you want to: ride, fish, catch and race frogs, be fed 3 good healthy meals a day, enjoy the open forest...

My wife & I spent three days here in July 2014. We are moderate-to good riders who have been to similar dude ranches. From the owners all the way through the staff, everyone was friendly & helpful. The size of the ranch (I think the capacity is less than 100 guests) means that it is easy to meet other guests...
