I booked online and paid $80 AARP rate (with tax $88) as a single traveler. There is no sign saying "Vagabond Inn," so at 10 PM I spent half an hour driving up and down Main St. thinking I must have missed it. The only sign on the property says "Sky Terrace Motel." The king non-smoking room is big, has...

Stains all over the carpet and bed spread, The dead bolt locks but does not unlock and it took me five minutes or more to get it to unlocked. If there was a fire I could have been burnt alive. And if that's not bad enough, when I was shaving this morning in the bathroom a hypodermic needle falls out...

If you need a place to spend the night on a road trip this old fashioned motel will suffice. Absolutely nothing fancy, but it's reasonably clean and quiet, the beds are OK, and the air conditioning and free Wi-Fi work well. For under $50 it is a reasonable value.

We 've stayed in many hotels in Mexico, USA and Canada.... So we sometimes just need the basics: clean, affordable, safe and easy freeway access. Affordable- yes Freeway access- yes Safe- if the deadbolt holds Clean- well, here's the weak spot..... Pool has been closed for....decades??? Windows were taped off and painted over when the pool died. Our room: stained...

I had some concerns about what kind of room I would get for the price, but it was clean, neat, shower worked great, the staff was friendly and the bed comfortable. The room served it's purpose beautifully. I was on a grueling drive from San Diego to Seattle and just needed a place to shower and catch a quick sleep....

I stayed at the Sky Terrace, a 1950s era motel I would guess, on a Sunday night in mid June 2016. Price $42.00, $46.20 with tax. I was in room #17 w/1 Queen bed. It was not one of the refurbished rooms that others have posted about. Room and bath were both very clean with older furnishings. The bed was...

This place is a gem! I was afraid a price this low would be a mistake. Very clean! The rooms are mid-century---if this hotel were in Portland, it would get a little makeover, keeping the original bathrooms . This place even has real keys to the rooms. So much better than a Motel 6.

The pleasant lady at reception charged me $49 for a comfortable queen bed in a en-suite room with quiet, efficient a/c. The controls were quite old, but I suspect the mechanicals were recently updated. I was expecting the worst when I saw the control panel, but the unit was better than many much pricier hotels I've stayed in. The room...
