Extraordinary comfort and quiet can be found at Apples' River House. The 'Apple' part are the hosts, Ric and Connie, not the fruit. But I'm sure they would kindly offer you an apple, if requested. The house is located right next to the River Walk trail...walk out the door and you are practically on the trail. Location is convenient to...

Thank you Connie and Ric for sharing your beautiful home! I was looking for a place that was centralized but not "in the city". They offer a comfortable room, home and surroundings. This B&B met and far exceeded my expectations....I trust you will be pleased as well! Carol-Seattle,WA

We could only stay one night but will keep Apples River House in mind next time we are in the area. We were attracted to it because of it's location on the paved trail along the Sacramento River, but we were doubly delighted to find such a pleasant B & B and such kind, welcoming hosts. Connie and Rick were...

What a wonderful surprise to discover this lovely home in a pretty section of Redding! We were looking to break up a long drive from CA to Oregon, and on the first leg, we stayed in one of the cookie cutter motels on the east side of town. But on our return trip, we wisely booked with the Apples' and...

This has become our go-to place in Redding. Why pay a similar price for an impersonal hotel when you can be greeted like an old friend, given a glass of wine, completely unwind in a serene yard with water splashing into a pond, and then sleep like a baby in a bed with upscale linens? On top of that, the...

We loved our stay at Apples' River B&B - wish we could've stayed longer! It was easy to access and in a quiet neighborhood. The place was immaculate with inviting rooms and gardens to sit and relax. The bed was so comfy it felt great to crawl into and sleep after a long day of traveling. The next day we...

A beautiful home with interesting, kind and knowledgable hosts Connie and Ric. Connie went out of her way to pick up my favorite coffee cup that I had left at a restaurant! Seriously, I came home from a very long day of work and mentioned that I left the coffee cup--and she called the restaurant and then went and got...

Apples' River House is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Right next to the house is a paved path down to the Sacramento River, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The house is modern and was intentionally designed by the owners to be a bed and breakfast. There are three rooms, all ensuite, with attractive contemporary furnishings. The backyard has nice landscaping...

I travel to Redding on business every few months. When I found Apples' River House I finally felt like I could sleep! Rick and Connie are like family to me now, I always look forward to sharing a glass of wine with them at the end of the day and to seeing Connie's smiling face in the morning for breakfast!...

First of all, the house is immaculate ... nicely decorated, modern furnishings, comfortable everything. The set-up is such that the bedroom felt private, it was plenty of space for 2 people and it had a balcony overlooking the patio. And the patio is great - lots of care and attention goes into this garden. The walking path is literally right...
