Very improved and still working on it! Good location and ample parking. Okay size rooms with micro and fridge. Very nice management and staff who do everything to make your stay comfortable. New fkatscreen TVs and lots of channels. Will definitely stay here again

Unprofessional staff. Very dirty!! Mold all over bathroom, towels had stains and hand prints on them. Floors looked as if someone spilled motor oil all over. Felt the need to leave immediately. Don't even think of trying this place.

This is not the most glamorous hotel judging from the outside. Sketchy neighborhood, lots of traffic and other random; undetermined noises. However, the rooms have recently been renovated and are actually really nice. Once I entered the room I was totally impressed. Front desk staff was super nice, too. Besides the looks from the outside, my other complaint was I...

Do not stay here! This is a Migrant Workers Dormitory. The majority of rooms have 2-3 bunk beds for up to six field workers per room. There are piles of dirty, smelly, boots in front of each occupied room. The men have no option but to hang out and smoke on the narrow dirty walkways, no ashtrays are provided. Warkways...

Tried to check in at midnight. Neither doorbell answered. Called and got clerk who came to the window to check us in. We were on the second floor which was hard to lug things up the stairs. Refrig & MW were handy to cut costs. Breakfast was supposed to go until 10:00. At 9:00 OJ was gone and couldn't be...

One of the nicest places I've visited, the friendly staff and clean accommodations were perfect. Located minutes from the Monterey Peninsula, this hidden gem offers lodging at a fraction of what you'd pay in Monterey or Carmel.

I would urge Choice Hotels to send a rep out to review this property to determine why they'd want their brand name on it. The smell of sewage permeates the air from the exposed "cover" about 15 feet from the office, according to the manager, the smell is caused by a nearby grocery store dumping expired dairy products into the...

There wasn't much good to say at this place. $149.99 for a room was a ridiculous price for a 1 star motel. The door had a gap so large the sun was shining through it. The shower had mold around the edges. Neighborhood was very shady looking. It was worth about $39.99 and that's stretching it. Rundown, old, nasty looking...

Several years ago-- 2011-- I stayed about a month in this fine place. It was clean, had a good bathtub-- essential for me as I am an amputee and cannot stand in the shower-- and was within walking distance to the city bus. From the main city bus station one can easily take buses to San Francisco, San Jose, Carmel,...

The hotel is fine. As one would expect from one in this chain, it is clean but unpretentious. Breakfast (coffee and a pastry) is provided in a tiny reception area, but there is a good Dennys on the road to Monterey. The area seems on the surface to be a little sinister, but we met some cheery Mexicans in the...
