The hotel is clean and spacious. Nothing to write home about but it is nice. Also, the time we were there the surrounding area rooms were out of control. The breakfast is lacking but there is an IHOP on the next block.

I don't think the commute would be tiresome, but the Bart station is not right next door to the hotel or anything (not convenient to walk to), so you would still ideally need a car to get you to the Bart station, ideally... More
