This hotel is clean with very comfortable beds, free wifi that works well and easy access to points north and south. Right on El Camino, it's about 25 minutes from San Francisco to the north and ten or 15 minutes from Stanford to the south. Oddly, rates are lower on the weekend.

I have been staying here for over 10 years because it's very consistent. Nice service, clean rooms, safe area, centrally located. Recently renovated. All the other reviewers are correct. They do a good job at running the hotel.

Plain, boxy and unattractive was our first impression as we pulled into the driveway to Hotel San Carlos. The lobby was small, but the desk clerk was friendly and efficient. Our first impression really changed as we stepped into our room. It was very clean, and roomy, with a flat screen TV, wireless access and two queen beds that were...

I checked in around 9:30 p.m and was greeted by a nice person. I had booked through Kayak, so he just needed to see my ID and credit card. I went to my room. I did notice that parking in the front of the hotel is pretty limited. The back lot parking is lonely and a little worrisome... There is...

I stayed here because I had a workshop to attend at the Holiday Inn next door. This hotel was cheaper by about $60-$80/night. It's small, but clean. The bed was really comfy & reminded me of the beds at Hampton Inn. (White duvets, great pillows.) You can tell it's been updated with new wallpaper & furnishings. It was cute! The...

This hotel has the best and most comfortable beds ever. We stayed here only one night on our trip around California and the next time we are in the area we plan on staying here (just because they have the most amazing beds). Overall the room was very clean and spacious.

First of all, this place is in no way a "hotel", but is a clean "old-school" type of motel (in a good way). I noticed a couple of negative reviews complaining about pricing and "safety" issues. I can guarantee you will not find a less expensive alternative in this area (at least, not one you'd want to stay in). As...

Came to the Bay Area for the Maker Faire, we stayed four nights in this hotel. Our room was clean, updated, the best thing about this room was the bed!! It was a king and very comfy, we don't stay in our room much when we travel, but want a comfortable bed to sleep in after sight seeing all day,...
